Why is there such a big gap in time between first and last approvals of february fillers?

Does it mean they didn't get to our file yet or they are investigating those cases longer ?

From my experience as a December Filer, these things are not really done in any order. We just have to hope that those of you people waiting get that letter very very soon. I received mine yesterday. Which was 8 months after i mailed my application. Just be hopeful. Things will be okay. :clock:

I tend to think that it's just because somebody somewhere decided to pick up that one random box with those February files. Haha.

Since I don't have any way of knowing where the card production is up to, or if its been shipped yet (my case status still hasn't been updated :D ), without me having to call uscis and speak to a tier 2 operator, anyone know how long it is between Approval to Card in hand?

I'm traveling abroad this coming Wednesday, and it would be nice not to have to carry the 1 yr extension letter.

Anyone else from 8/1 approval had any status updates, usually they put the USPS tracking number when the card is shipped?

No you are not the only one! They received my package on Feb 4th, still showing " initial review". There is more than 6 months so far.

Hello everyone. Can someone please add me to the timeline?

- I submitted by docs on Feb 8,

- Feb 12 VSC received it.

- extension letter (don't remember the date)

- biometrics (don't remember the date)

- August 4rd i received a congrats mail stating that my case was approved. However by online status was still under review.

- August 11th i got an email that my card is in production.

It's been 6 months all together. All these months i was checking this forum for updates. Was jealous seeing other cases being approved, especially those who submitted their papers to CSC. :diablo: To everyone whose case is still pending. Please be patient, go hit the gym. That's all it takes. :star:

I have not really posted on this forum ...but I have read a huge amount of very valuable information over the years.

Thank you to everyone that has posted guides and advice and to the VJ staff that keep this forum organized.

I called the customer service today because 6 months have passed since I sent my application

She told me that indeed it was over normal processing times for vermont service center and she offered to send a inquiry.

Before she did that she contacted the Vermont center and she told me that Vermont are a week behind and are working still on cases from

02/03/2014 so it should be handled in the next week or so because I filed on 02/10/2014

She finally didn't send any inquiry, and told me to call back in 2-3 weeks if no updates

I don't get this at all. Some people with cases of late february have been approved already, so how could she tell me they still process 02/03/2014 cases ?

Hello guys,

I've been watching this thread since I sent my package to remove my conditional status. Here' my info:

Vermont center:

I-751 date: 02/21/14

NOA1 date: 02/24/14

Biometrics: 03/27/2014 (I did an early biometrics but don't remember the date)

Status online is still "initial review" saying that they received my petition on February 24th. I live in NJ!
