Got our approval this morning for ROC. VSC filed in Feb

For those that receive RFE's - do you get any kind of case status update on the website, or text and email alert if you are subscribed?

Just curious as theres been no movement whatsoever of my case and I'm wondering if one day soon I'm going to receive a letter in the mail

We got our RFE yesterday. No update on the website, just a letter.

They apparently didn't read our file very well: they said I added my husband to my bank account a year later than was shown on the change of status form. And that the bank statements (one every six months for three years) didn't cover the span of out marriage (presumably because they thought he was added a year later than he was).

Pretty much been foaming at the mouth for the past two days.

My wife already got her approval letter. No change on the website. I know during the K-1 process the website was not very reliable, I am assuming the same thing for the ROC

This whole not knowing thing is starting to annoy me. I'm waiting for it to be august to call.

Sorry for the late response. We received RFE on June 4. Uscis received our package today. Hopefully we'll be approved in the next month or so.

It is interesting how VSC has cases backlogged to November and December and it is already dealing with February Cases. I dont know at what point they intend to atleast send some of us some form of update either through RFEs or approvals. Waiting in the dark and not being in the know is just too excrucriating. Good luck to all of those still in the waiting game.

Can someone tell me if they think that whoever filled in February should have had already received an RFE if they intended to ask you for more evidence and most cases that haven't heard anything is just a matter of waiting for approval ?

I say that because I see some February fillers got RFE last month or several weeks ago, so I guess no news is better maybe

Maybe all our cases are ready to be approved but they have a limit of approvals they can do a day/week ?

Any thoughts guys....

Please don't think too much on things.. we will never know and it will only serve to boil your brain even more.

You could receive RFE anytime once your case has not been approved. The chances of getting one even increase when you moved while your case is pending. I have seen cases where people did change of address today and they send out an RFE letter dated the day after change of address... August 5 will make ours 8 months with no updates and no RFE. We just have to be prayerful and hopeful to get the approval notice after the long wait and not an RFE...

Well, we did a change of address 21 July (about 50 miles, but still in state), and just got notice that our case was transferred from Vermont to California. Still waiting for that last good news though.

The last time VSC transferred some of their cases to CSC was in December '13 (pls don't quote me). Due to the backlog at VSC, it sounds probably like your case was transferred to CSC. We can't be rest assure of this transfers until we see the same trend from other February or March applicants. Lets keep an eye out there and see if anyone from VSC receives the same letter like yours.

hello

uscis sent me RFE mail back in june, 2014 which is (Request For More Evidence) then i started get my paper ready in the same day to send it back the next day and i did but till now i did not get it any confirmation letter from them that they received my RFE Mail. so is that normal that they do not send confirmation letter?

i want you to know that i change my address back in june also and they sent me confirmation letter after week but they did not do the same with RFE.
