It was 26th feb.

I am kind of intrigued cos you are in middle of AOS(according to your timeline),picked up my one and half month old comment and trying to find out the date of my check cashedwacko.png ,since my whole timeline is in feb thread and also in my signature.

Biometrics completed! There was about 30 minutes of waiting time.

What is the next step and how soon guys?

Next step is wait game.

I have seen november filers getting approved now,so we should get first approval in May middle hopefully.

Also 1 january filer got approved recentlysmile.png , raising our expectations to hear something in May higher.yes.gif

I had my biometrics yesterday (not on the 16th, like I stated before. Woops.). It went very smooth and quick, I was the only person there. The people there were incredibly nice!

Fingers crossed for a quick approval! :)

When I went for AOS I forgot our marriage certificate, but they let it slide as they found my application in the database and saw that there was a name change. Do we just need our permanent resident card and drivers license? Or should I bring my passport as well?

What all do we need to bring for biometrics? When I went for AOS I forgot our marriage certificate, but they let it slide as they found my application in the database and saw that there was a name change. Do we just need our permanent resident card and drivers license? Or should I bring my passport as well?

I took biometrics appt letter(very important) , green card , ID , copy of NOA1 , passport.

They just checked bio letter,green card and ID.

Bio letter is very important as they put stamp on letter stating 'appeared for biometrics' and they return it.

In few cases i have read that they take green card,but they returned everything back in my case. :)

Your bio letter & state ID/DL/ passport will do.

Your GC is only needed if biometric is for naturalization N-400

Read the ID requirement on your letter again if in doubt

Just realized that my service center is Vermont and not California. Now, the question is, why is my service center Vermont when I live in California?

What do you mean? You sent to CSC, but you got Bio letter from VSC?

I saw some CSC filers got their Bio letter from VSC in the past. I guess VSC is good at making appointment or something and helping CSC at this stage...?

I think you are still CSC filer and you can put your name back to CSC?

Any other CSC filers had the same experience here?
