Usually when I log onto VJ I don't enter my password or username because I have it on "remember me". In the past week or so it asks me to log in each time even though the box "remember me" is checked. I didn't change any settings on my computer... does anyone know why this might happen?

Thanks,

Sarah

it has been doing the same for me since the upgrade.

oh good so I'm not the only one. It's not that big of a deal but it would be nice to have it remember my ID from my computer at home.

As far as I know my IP address hasn't changed. Also, I haven't logged in from work in over a week.

How can I make it so that it doesn't log me out if I close IE each time?

It should not. Is your IP changing? If you are on dialup it may.

Sarah, check that you didn't turn your cookies off by accident.

My cookies are never off thank you very much!

also, I am not on dialup and this time when I opened IE I didn't have to log in so I think it's ok now.

Thanks!

I have this problem too. Whenever I restart the computer I have to log in again. I have DSL so I don't think I have different IP numbers, but I'm not sure? I know that cookies are enabled because I stay logged in to other sites that I visit without problems. Oh well, good to know I'm not the only one experiencing this!

I am having a problem again. Everytime I log into VJ I click "view new posts" and it makes me log in again. Then if I want to choose a forum to go to it makes me log in again. Sometimes when I want to post a reply it makes me log in again. I can't see two threads in a row without having to log in again. Anyone having to log in this much?

Now I'm getting pissed- each time I want to "post message" it says "this menu has been disabled... you must be a member to post messages and log in blah blah blah".
