Can anyone tell me if SLMEC is open for testing Mon thru Friday? Or, do they do results only on Thur/Fri? My fiance is scheduled to arrive in Manila on Monday Feb 24. She is pre-registered k1/k2 and would go to the center at 1pm to get things started and then back early next morning and so on. But if either of the above is true then maybe due to K2 we need to reschedule her flight from Mindinao to arrive on Sunday evening if it is still possible. Hope we can leave it as is I wait your replies. Thanks in advance!

Usually, results will be known the following day though there are those who come early at slec and got the results the same day, but for k2 below 15 yrs old, it is required to have tuberculine skin test in which the results will be after 72 hrs.

It will take three days as the K2 if age 15yo or younger will need to have the TB skin test. There are lots of threads here that talk about the process that will bring you up to speed on what other's have experienced. It makes for a good read.

My personal experience is to allow 3 days that the SLEC is open to allow for the TB test results so don't go on a Wed-Thurs because there will not be enough time to read the results. Do a Monday or Tuesday start day for the exam.

Read the link that OfficerD offered.
