Obligation to USCIS if she returns

Well, my former fiancée returned to the Philippines yesterday after only 2 weeks here. Long story short, she never intended to marry me and was put under a lot of pressure by her family to come here. She admitted that she led me on so I would send money. I pray that she can have a safe and happy future at home.

My question is this: What obligation do I have to USCIS to report that she has gone home and the visa is no longer valid? And is there anything I can do to ensure she is not allowed to scam another US Citizen in the future?

Thanks for any help you can provide. I wish all of you more success in this process. There are many long term, happy and successful Fil-am marriages here in my small community. I know this forum was a great help to me when doing all the work to make what I thought was both of our dream become reality.

The visa was single-use, and expired the moment she passed through CBP controls at the airport.

You may wish to contact the fraud department at the embassy to have them note she was less than forthcoming, so that she'll be flagged if she is the beneficiary of another immigrant or K-1 visa application in the future.

Well that sucks! Sorry to hear that.

Like said the visa expired the second she entered the country, you never got married so your obligation ended when she left again.

As for protecting others from being scammed by this woman, I suggest contacting the embassy in Manila by letter or email with details of what transpired, include the MNL # so they can easily attach it to her file.
