Question about visit

Just curious, my fiance has a tourist visa and we are thinking about having her come and visit until it is time for her interview. I am just curious if she needs to be at her address for any kind of paperwork that may be sent to her? Also curious how long the normal wait time is from getting the NOA2 to where she would need to be physically back down in Mexico for the medical and interview.

No there really is no paper work that she will get until the Embassy letter. You will get all the notifications and letters sent to you.

Also no need to worry about the NOA2 because you have to wait after you get the NOA2 until the petition is transferred to the NVC (National Visa Center). It has typically been taking about 5 weeks for that to happen (depending on where your petition is being done). So once you get NOA2 she would have plenty of time to go home.

NOA2 can take anywhere from 20 days to 4 or 5 months. You guys are lucky to be able to be together during the wait. Just make sure she doesn't overstay her tourist visa.

Yes you should have about 4 or 5 weeks before your case reaches the NVC. Of course you can also wait awhile until you schedule the interview too.
