Thanks, I guess that means I should just be patient! Did it change to post decision activity?

My Journey:

We met through a study-abroad program in Shanghai, China in August of 2009

We got engaged March of 2010

I received my K1 VISA in 6 months (June-December 2010)

We were married 04/02/2011
I received my conditional 2-year greencard (AOS) in 2.5 months with no interview (April-June 2011)

Our son was born 02/03/2013

I received my masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology 04/17/2013

I received my 10-year greencard (ROC) in 3 months with no interview (March-June 2013)

My husband returned from deployment 06/20/2013

My naturalization journey took 4 months (April-August 2014)

I became a US citizen on 08/01/2014

Received passport in 3 weeks (regular processing)

Their status didn't change till they got the in que for oath spot

I hope you get lucky and get a closer oath place.

Hard to believe but Memphis is the only place for us, since we missed the one they do in Little Rock for the 4th.

You can actually goggle and see if you can find when is the next judicial oath ceremony at your district. It varies. For example Dallas doesn't conduct many judicial oath ceremonies. I think there are 5-6 a year. This way you can expect your oath letter few weeks before that date.

no, goes straight to "oath ceremony"

On June 9, 2014, we placed your application in the oath scheduling que. We will send a notice when the ceremony is scheduled. If you move prior to the scheduled ceremony, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

Naturalization Applicants: you will receive your certificate at your oath ceremony. You can expect to be scheduled for an oath ceremony within 45 days of receiving your recommended approval. Many offices schedule approved applicants for the oath ceremony on the same day as the day of the interview. Please check the local office profile page on our website to determine if the office where you will be interviewed schedules same day oath ceremonies

Well my interview was today - arrived 15 min earlier - sat for 30 min before being called in...asked to stand up and raise my right hand and promise to say nothing but the truth, went over the paperwork, then went on to the questions:

There are four amendments to the Constitution about who can vote. Describe one of them

What is one reason colonists came to America?

Who is in charge of the executive branch?

If the president can no longer serve, who becomes President?

What is one right or freedom from the First Amendment?

then had me read: "Which state has the biggest population?"

and write: "California has the biggest population"

was told "Congratulations, you passed...... and we are scheduling oath ceremony for Monday July 9th :o:thumbs::thumbs::thumbs::thumbs:

so after waiting 30 min cause it was their lunch, they called the people that passed with instructions for the oath ceremony

You can actually goggle and see if you can find when is the next judicial oath ceremony at your district. It varies. For example Dallas doesn't conduct many judicial oath ceremonies. I think there are 5-6 a year. This way you can expect your oath letter few weeks before that date.

I must suck at googling it as I never find anything other the old ceramonies

Had my interview today. Arrived 30min early and waited about 10 mins.

After swearing to tell the truth, he asked me six questions. I wrote a sentence and reviewed the application form.

I had few corrections and additions to the original submission (I had a baby since the submission) so I was a little nervous for changes (I had also mis-answered a couple questions, not the serious ones).

The interviewer was very kind and he corrected the original submission. Other than my passport and permanent resident card, he wasn't interested in anything I brought.

In less than 15 minutes, I was approved! He gave me a letter scheduling my oath ceremony on July 16th.

Yea!

Hi Guys,

Thanks for everyone in visajourney. I had my interview today and went through blazing fast and I got the approval letter and letter for attending the oath ceremony on July 16, 2014. The 6 questions asked were

1 There are four amendments to the constitution about who can vote. Describe any one of them.

2 Who is the Vice President of United States

3 If the president can no longer serve who becomes the President?

4 Why did the colonists fight the British?

5 What is one right or freedom from the first amendment?

6 Who is the Commander in Chief of the Army?

4.We elect a US senator for how many years?

5.If the President and Vice President can no longer serve who becomes President?

6.Name one part or branch of the government?
