Which Number did you call?

Hah, I called it this morning! Exactly a month before my official eligibility date, I have been placed in line for the interview :dancing:

No text alert, I just happened to check my status right now, and it said I was placed in line today, May 7 :dancing:

I'm not sure what has happened to the list, as I can't seem to update it. Can someone please help update my info? Otherwise, I will do it once the list is fixed again. Thanks!

Congrats!! :dancing: I bet they're making sure that everything is current (ie. Background checks and eligibility date) before placing people in line or to even schedule the appointments. I have my appointment this Friday and every time I think about it, it makes my stomach hurt because I'm so nervous.

Bloomfield, when I said 'I called it', I wasn't referring to a phone number. I posted here this morning saying that today was exactly a month before my official eligibility date, and thus I would expect to be placed in line any day now. Well, I checked my status in the afternoon, and sure enough, I had been placed in line as of today :dancing: So 'I called it' as in, I predicted it, my intuition came true, I 'said it and it happened' so to speak. Just an expression ;)

Bennobot - you have nothing to fear. Just be prepared, know your 100 questions and I'm sure you will find it a piece of cake! ;) Be sure to update us on Friday on how it all went. Good luck! :D

My case updated today and I got no text or email notification. Not everyone gets these - not sure why. I just make sure I check my case status online once a day, and that's how I find out. I suggest you do the same - once a day should be more than enough.

Also, I know it's nerve wracking, but like we've said in here several times, it depends a lot on your Field Office's workload. Sometimes people wait 2 months or longer to be scheduled for an interview after they are placed in line. The online case status also says to wait 90 days before you contact them to inquire, so for them, up to 90 days is within normal time limits. Don't stress so much - they will schedule you as soon as they get to you. It may help you to go to older threads and check to see if there are any people in the same Field Office as yours, and check their timelines. That will give you a better indication. I know I did that and it helped me to know what to expect.

Bummer that you will have to wait 2 months for the oath ceremony of course, but oh well...

I just realized, today is exactly a month before I officially become eligible for naturalization. So it's game from now on :content:

I still haven't even been placed in line, but I believe this and being scheduled for an interview can happen anytime from now on -since interviews seem to be scheduled about a month in advance. Though, based on my Field Office's time lines from other threads, I think I may not actually be scheduled for another month still, and no interview 'till July, but we shall see.

Thank u so much for your resresponse well I m worried even I m.not revieve a yellow letter after I m online for my interview secduall well I was apply after my 5 years aniversary so I m worried cause I know its 90 days bit I m saw the interview they got secduall and they olso marvh filers and they get the interviews in june thsts yyyy .......

Wise_Hawk I downloaded the USCIS app on my iPad and it I check it all day. It is so much easier than login into the immigration website. You just add your case number once then hit the refresh button you want to see if your case status changed. Lol. There is no specific time for USCIS to update your status. I have filed several documents with USCIS and I have received updates throughout the day including 2:00am and weekends (Saturday).

I passed!!! I'm so happy!! My appointment was at 10:00 am I was there at 9:35, I was called around 10:05 am the officer was a female really nice!!! She start confirming all info from my form and before the "yes and no" answers she stopped and started with my questions:

1. What is freedom of religion?

2. When was the constitution written?

3. What ocean is on the east coast?

4. What state borders with Canada?

5. How many senators?

6. What is the U.S. Capital

Then read: what do we have to pay to the government?

Write: we pay taxes

She then told me that they are gathering people from east TN to have a nice ceremony before the 4th of July, so it looks like I will have to wait longer to have my Oath Ceremony, but is ok since that will mean not having to drive all the way to Memphis for that!!! It was a 6 hour drive!!! Good luck everyone!!!

Congrats ! I bet we will be on the same Oath Ceremony for East TN lol...... I hope I do pass my interview come June 2nd. I'm nervous as hell!
