I swear, it really is Lawrence, MA. It's irritating because I can't look up the processing times for it. :bonk:

That's probably why it doesn't seem to be a field office.

But that's where I've had my AOS interview, ROC fingerprinting, and N-400 fingerprinting as well.

The USCIS.gov website has a page for it here:http://www.uscis.gov/about-us/find-uscis-office/field-offices/massachusetts-lawrence-field-office

But it's not available in the drop down menu for field office processing times :ranting:

If anyone here can figure out how to find it, please tell me!

Apparently it's processing the N-400 pretty quickly though so that's good at least.. :goofy:

Ah, got it! Looks like you already know where I was going with my query. I wanted to see what posted processing times are at the respective local field offices for the three filers from this month who have been placed in line to interview. For what it's worth:

Lawrence, MA: indeterminate

Memphis, TN: August 15, 2013

St. Paul, MN: 5 Months

All processing times were updated on January thirty-first, over two months ago. I wonder if processing times have sped up in the last two months since these updates were published. It's also worth noting that these three cases represent both the Phoenix and Dallas/Lewisville lockboxes, so if this is indeed a trend of quicker processing times, it's seems at present not to be a function of the lockbox location.

Thank you! OK so I have a status. I just got a text from USCIS and it says that I have been scheduled for my interview and I should get the letter in the mail soon. This is crazy how fast this has happened. I just did my fingerprints on 3/28 and I'm already scheduled. I'm excited but nervous at the same time. I hope that, since this is happening so fast, they wont give me bad news.

Just a thought for those who applied as soon as their ninety-day eligibility window opened: if you get invited to interviw before the third-/fifth-year anniversary (depending on what statute you applied under) of becoming a Legal Permanent Resident, would you have any qualms about not satisfying the three-/five-year time requirement for naturalisation?

With the three cases happening above, this seems like a fair likelihood in at least some of the cases. Alternatively, and this question is for any of engineer21, bennobot and coqueta: how long after your eligibility window did you apply?

This is a very good point and directly applies to me as I applied just 10 days after my window opened. I wonder if their oath ceremony may not be held until after their official anniversary though. We shall see.

My 5 year anniversary was in Sept 2013. I waited until now because I was going on vacation in January and I didn't want to put myself in a spot if I got called for fingerprints or something while I was gone. So I'm at 5 years and 6 months.

Congrats Kristel! welcome to the april fools in line club :)

And congrats Bennobot for getting scheduled so fast!

My permanent resident 3-year anniversary was July 2013 (see my signature) so no issues with when the interview or oath being too early.

I have heard cases where the interview accidentally got scheduled before the 3 or 5-year mark and had to be rescheduled. I've also seen cases where they went ahead and had the interview but delayed the actual approval until the anniversary date.

But yea, in any case they won't let you take the oath before then.

I'm applying based in the 5 years rule, and my eligibility date was January 2012.

Wow, so everyone who is already scheduled for an interview is past their 3/5 year anniversary by anything from 6 months to 2 years!!!

That makes sense! Yes, I would think either the interview or the actual approval would have to be pushed back until after the anniversary.

Darth Vader is right, though I wonder, if anyone is called in for an interview before their official anniversary, whether it's worth contacting USCIS to reschedule rather than go ahead with the interview. In any event, we will see what happens in everyone's respective case.
