Out of curiosity, how is it that USCIS knows when/where to text/email you? Do they take the info from the application? I thought you had to sign up for alerts, and the only way to do that was knowing your receipt number, which comes in the mail via the I-797.

Oh. I didn't realize there was a form to fill out for that. D'oh!!

I can only imagine.....I keep waiting on the mail for the dates for my biometrics and although I know its coming....I cant relax until I get it LOL....the waiting game is very nerve wrecking indeed!

I know. I am at work and first thing to do when i come home is going to be to check is my e-mail so I can update things online.

BTW, I am listed on table as one application; but my wife applied as well. For the green card 6 years ago; we applied same day and I had my approval a month earlier then she did. I am wondering what kind of chances we have; that they will schedule our fingerprint or interview in different days???

BTW, I am listed on table as one application; but my wife applied as well. For the green card 6 years ago; we applied same day and I had my approval a month earlier then she did. I am wondering what kind of chances we have; that they will schedule our fingerprint or interview in different days???

If you mailed them together then I surely hope you get the same dates.

Yes, it's form G-1145 and I included it in the N-400 package. However, it only gains you a few days. Once the actual NOA comes in the mail, you should be able to use the case number to track your application and presumably sign up for updates through the website :)

My CR1 timeline (DCF London):
June 26, 2010 - civil wedding
Aug 2, 2010 - I-130 package mailed to the London Consulate (DCF)
Aug 9, 2010 - NOA1 (confirmation of receipt) via email
Sep 4, 2010 - religious wedding
Oct 21, 2010 - NOA2
Nov 25, 2010 - Case number received in the mail
Nov 29, 2010 - Medical
Dec 1, 2010 - DS-230I & DS-2001 forms mailed back
Feb 1, 2011 - Interview - APPROVED!!!
Feb 7, 2011 - Passport with Visa received via courier
June 7, 2011 - POE Los Angeles (LAX)
June 18, 2011 - 2-Year Green card received in the mail!!!

July 25, 2013 - 10 year green card APPROVED!! (notification via text and email, and website updated)

So, nice surprise for me when I arrived home today , NOA came in mail Priority Date is March 19th 2014 ( what exactly is priority date btw lol) and Notice date is March 21st.

I registered online and I found out that they send me Fingerprint Notice today as well :dancing:

My in-laws filed papers for citizenship few years ago together and they went through the whole process at same time (fingerprints and interview)

Nice to see everyone's getting notifications and bio letters so fast!

My application was supposed to be delivered yesterday, 3/26, but last tracking update says " March 26, 2014 Depart USPS Sort Facility Phoenix, AZ 85043". I'm hoping it has been delivered already and they just forgot to scan it. Not knowing is killing me, lol.

Anyway, I have a question I hope someone may be able to answer. I filed I-90 to replace my green card last month and had biometrics done on March 3. I read somewhere on this forum that fingerprints are valid for 15 months so I'm wondering if I'll have to get them done again for N-400? If not will they let me know? I sent a check for $680, including bio fee just in case to avoid any delays.

My Immigration Journey:

K1: June 2010 - December 2010

AOS: April 2011 - June 2011

ROC: April 2013 - August 2013

Naturalization: March 2014 - August 2014

I just checked again today and it was delivered this morning. I paid for 2-day Priority too and it took 4 days - 1 day from CA to AZ and then it just sat around somewhere for 2 days and finally got delivered on the 4th day! :angry:

I told you so; our cases hop[efully will keep same speed. You applied day before me; your priority day is day before me; our fingerprint notices are sent on same day; so let see which days they are calling us in :)

I can feel your frustration; hopefully USCIS will be more efficient about your case. Good luck .
