1. you two control the speed. Go as fast as humanly possible? Maybe 4 months after Consular Casefile # Assigned.

We've an NVC Monthly Filers Topic - have you seen it? Inside it, the first two posts are 'required reading' for anyone chasing a spousal immigrant visa.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

1. Look up the the process speed of other cases like yours for islamabad. Go to the top of the page and look for Immigation timeline and do a little sorting of what step you are at compare it with other RECENT cases! That will be your best bet to see the progress.

2. Yes he can accomidate you to the interview, But should he and will it help are two different questions. (in my opinion NO!) your better off practicing for your interview so at the time of the interview you do not get nervious/confused and are prepared to answer the interview questions to the best of your abilitles truthfully.

PM if you need some more help.

#1 varies on the case & they will contact you and your husband as soon as the schedule it

#2 in my opinion it is a great idea to go together. Be prepared for questions but it proves something to thr consular. They were happy i came with my fiance. I mean we were laughing and smiling throughout the 2 minute interview!

you control your speed in NVC process. sending the documents fast, and complete etc.... receiving checklists delays the process.

However I have noticed from the date the case is completed to the time people get their interview date for islamabad embassy is 2 months.

ya, that's a piece of the duration you not control, and is normal for 2013 and 2014.
