The abuse claim is not from the "consenting adult" stepdaughter. Think about that.

I was responding to Marvins claim about the difference in ages between him and the Daughter who apparently was in a romantic relationship with him.

What a jacked up family, of course one has to wonder what Mia Farrow ever saw in him... and how much she must hate him now.

Woody at 56, and Prevlin at 19, not to mention the dynamics were more father, daughter. I can't see it.

Several folks on here with those age differences. Asians in general seem to prefer older men. And technically, she was Mia's adopted daughter, had nothing to do with Woody (until he married her, that is). Mia and Woody were never married, never lived together.

Now wait a minute... he never married Mia. They dated from 1980 on, about 12 years, then he married Mia's adopted step daughter in 1997, after dating her since 1991 9 (she was 19 at this time). They adopted 2 daughters. Not seeing why all the hating on him for Soon-Yi.

However what about all the bumperstickers which taught a more open minded way to approach love? Who are we to judge as long as the two are consenting adults?

It's human right..... who are we to show bigotry when they only want to love each other?

Anyway, one can find a lot more consistencies in nature between an older male pairing up with a much younger female than between two males tying-off.

Danno, the dude is alleged to have abused one of his stepdaughters at the age of 7 and he's gone on to have a sexual relationship with another stepdaughter. You don't think this might make a few people (at the very least) question his decision-making?

Congratulations Dave, you've discovered a technicality. Wonderful. Because it's perfectly natural for a middle aged man to have a sexual relationship with a girl he has known since she was 8.

First of all, you are assuming guilt contrary to our American tradition.

Secondly, how dare you question two people who are in love and want to enjoy the same rights as everyone else (well, not "everyone" just yet).

Thirdly, you guys are Frickin confusing...... do we pass judgment on other peoples life choices or not?

Fourthly, as far as the abuse charges, I have not looked into the case thoroughly but a few things jumped out at me.

Why did the mother question her daughters accusations?, Why did they decline to pursue charges?

I have no idea what went on, but we do know it is a lot easier to accuse someone of such a thing than it is to defend yourself from the charge.

If Woody Allen could say what he wanted I wonder if he might reveal some details worth knowing?

If I were betting money I would bet he did it, but that is based on a hunch more than reading into the facts available.
