CRBA #24 Precise periods of time in the US

I'm a US citizen. For #24 on the ds-2029 do they want my time in the US from birth? It says city, state, and also it says to put month-day-year. So do I need to put each time I moved, even to a different city in the US?

Your over thinking this one. It's the city, state you lived in when leaving the US and the city, state you lived in when you returned from birth. You don't log your movements within the US. The provable time inside the US only needs to add up to 3 years before fourteen and 2 years after. I had no record of travel before 18 so I didn't log anything. The first entry was my date of birth with the next entry being the first record of travel outside the US I had.
