Hey everyone, I need help ASAP, I am wanting to tie the bow on the i129f and mail it off before the post office closes today here in a couple hours. My fiancée is a Brazilian and she is a model/actress, and uses a "stage name" which most people think is her actual name because she doesn't like her legal name very much. Her Facebook account and all of her letters she signs as Wilmara Valentin when her real name is Wilmara Coelho de Melo. I have used the latter on all of the official forms, but there are several of our proofs of relationship that have her name as Wilmara Valentin. My question is if this will cause any problems, if I should put Wilmara Valentin on the forms as an alternate name, or just include a sheet with an explanation?

Please respond ASAP, my deadline is here in 2 hours!!

Dave

I'd suggest using her real, legal name on all forms. Then just put 'Valentin' under alternate names used. You can include a small paragraph on the cover letter explaining it, if you wish.

Agree with the above- shouldn't be a major issue, just mention it in the cover letter and under "other names used".
