I thought I did update my Interview appointment on the timeline, but for some reason it is gone now. Maybe someone can add it again. I received a call to come in tomorrow at 9am for my interview.

Had my interview today and passed :) only got asked 6 questions since I passed them all. In and out in about 20 minutes or less. I was nervous for nothing lol I also received a Form N-652 with a checkmark in the "you passed the tests of English and US history and government" and a checkmark in section B for "a decision cannot yet be made about your application". Did anyone else receive this notice with the checkmark in B?

My online status says as Scheduled on April 17th and since I haven't received any interview letter, I called USCIS to see if I can get any additional information.

Agent mentioned that the local office has mailed it to me on April 17th and they don't have access to additional information regarding the interview date/location. My local office would be Dallas and it would take 2 to 3 business days normally. Today would be the 5th business day. Hopefully USPS did not mess it up. In this thread and at other related threads, most of them received the interview letter in a day or two after the status has changed.

Does anyone faced the same amount of time?

My interview appt letter took 11 DAYS to arrive in the mail!!!

So no worries, they give plenty of time for snail mail to arrive before your interview! :)

My online status says as Scheduled on April 17th and since I haven't received any interview letter, I called USCIS to see if I can get any additional information.

Agent mentioned that the local office has mailed it to me on April 17th and they don't have access to additional information regarding the interview date/location. My local office would be Dallas and it would take 2 to 3 business days normally. Today would be the 5th business day. Hopefully USPS did not mess it up. In this thread and at other related threads, most of them received the interview letter in a day or two after the status has changed.

Does anyone faced the same amount of time?

Don't worry it might take little longer. Also the interview will be a minimum of 30 days from April 17th. They never schedule interview with very short notice unlike the oath or fingerprinting.

Had my interview today and passed :) only got asked 6 questions since I passed them all. In and out in about 20 minutes or less. I was nervous for nothing lol I also received a Form N-652 with a checkmark in the "you passed the tests of English and US history and government" and a checkmark in section B for "a decision cannot yet be made about your application". Did anyone else receive this notice with the checkmark in B?

To partially answer your question, the designation "A decision cannot yet be made about your application" is not as unusual as you might think.

Sometimes, a clear reason is given as to why an approval has been delayed, and at other times, it is not. Nevertheless, the most frequent outcome after receiving this designation at the interview is an online confirmation and/or a confirmation letter from the USCIS scheduling the petitioner for the Naturalisation Oath Ceremony.

Anecdotal evidence would suggest that receiving the "A decision cannot yet be made about your application" designation does not add any time to your overall processing timeframe.

Yesterday I received a yellow letter asking to bring my state issued id to the interview. Waste of paper and postage costs since id was included in the list of required documentation in the interview letter. Got me nervous for a minute.
