Thank you for doing that!

No I have not gotten a text, email or letter. I figured I wouldn't get a text since it's not a Lockbox. So hopefully there will be a NOA1 in the mail soon. I know Nebraska takes longer than the other processing centers so I'm not worried just yet.

I'm okay if everything is slow as long as this gets done withing the year. ^^

What do you know. I just pulled my NOA 1 out of the mailbox. Priority date 02/21

Successfully did an early walk-in at the Brooklyn Application Support Center today! I start a new job on Monday and wasn't sure I'd be able to take the morning off on Wednesday for my scheduled appointment.

Arrived at the ASC at approximately 3:30pm today (a Thursday), and I was pretty much the only applicant in the waiting area. The guys working the center were very cordial and friendly, and let me do my biometrics early without asking questions. I had barely finished filling out my form when an officer called me up. He only checked my permanent resident card and my letter. He brought me over to a cubicle with fingerprinting machines and cameras, where one other woman was getting processed by another officer. He handed me my civics study booklet, and then we did my fingerprints and photos. He stamped my biometrics appointment letter and signed it, saying it was my receipt now, and I was done and out of there within what felt like 10 minutes. They close at 4pm so I think that's why the office was so empty and everyone was very relaxed.

msd - What is the notice date on your NOA? I can add it to the list... but please correct me if I'm wrong: I believe we're tracking the notice date, not the priority date in the list?

How can i be added to the Feb list? I sent mine on 2/5, USCIS cashed my check on 2/12. I did my biometrics yesterday 3/6. Thanks!

I was there at 3.30 pm (they close at 4). The guy asked me why I showed up at that time when they open at 8 am. I went there late bc my friend and her mom were turned away last year when they went early. Of course I didn't tell him that. He asked me to just come back the day of the appt., even though I told him my son has school that day and it's going to be really hard for me. he told me they will do it at any time that day if I can't make it at scheduled time and that it only takes 15 minutes to get biometrics done. I asked him for the civic questions book and he said just get it the day you come back. What a jerk

Personally I never even opened the study guide and used http://amaruk.atspace.com/tests/NewCivicsTest.html to learn the questions and answers. I already knew most of it anyway.

2005-04-14: met online

2005-09-03: met in person

2007-02-26: filed for K-1

2007-03-19: K-1 approved

2007-06-11: K-1 in hand

2007-07-03: arrived in USA

2007-07-21: got married, yay!

2007-07-28: applied for green card

2008-02-19: conditional green card in hand

2010-01-05: applied for removal of conditions

2010-06-14: 10-year green card in hand

2013-11-19: applied for US citizenship

2014-02-10: became a US citizen

2014-02-22: applied for US passport

2014-03-14: received US passport

Thank you! The notice date would be 03/03. I'm not sure which one we are tracking. I'm a bit rusty when it comes to the processing procedures.

Completed my biometrics on March 6, checked my case status and today my case was placed inline for interview scheduling.

Hopefully we'll all be getting our interview letters soon good.gif

I am not sure my post is right place or no, if it is wrong place sorry about that.
But this is very important to know, whrn i can apply for my US citizenship.
Those are about my stutaion.
Please Help!

I came in USA by k-1 visa on " Sep , 2011"

Also i married with my fiance, On "Nov /2011"

My I-797 Adjustment of Status approval was on Dec 15 /2011

My conditional green card never issued.

My 10 years green card arrive on" feb /2014"

Can I fill out N-400 forms on Dec 20, 2015?

(it will be 3 years +10 days after my 1-797 date)

8.1)...When can I apply for United States citizenship?
A...As a spouse of a US Citizen, you can apply for citizenship 3 (three) years after approval of your Adjustment of Status. Your approval may be noted via any of the following: approval notice (I-797), on your passport (I-551 stamp and date), your green card ("resident since" date). The 3 year countdown begins with that date. This 3 year period does not include long absences from the United States.

But really I am not sure when I should to do.

October 27,2010 : NVC sent the first package

November 01,2010 : Delivered DS-3032 hard copy & IIN Received via EMAIL & MAIL

November 02,2010 : AOS Fee IN PROCESS & DS-3032 sent via EMAIL ( 2 times but no automatic reply )

November 04,2010 : AOS Fee showed " PAID "

November 05,2010 : DS-3032 sent again ( no automatic again )

November 08,2010 : IV Fee IN PROCESS

November 10,2010 : IV Fee showed " PAID "

November 11,2010 : IV package sent to NVC from Vietnam

November 12,2010 : AOS package sent to NVC from USA

November 15,2010 : NVC received IV & AOS package

December 03,2010 : SIF & CC ^^ wow

March 01,2011 : Received email from NVC, Interview Scheduled for April 15 at 8 AM
