It's February 1. We are gathering documents. Let's get this started for all the February filers

Just have to make the copies of everything that they need this weekend and getting the passport photos done as well.

Does anyone know if it's OK to submit 2-sided (front & back) copies of these docs? I'm thinking I could save a tree or two... Thanks

Duplex copies. Are they OK with that?

We (my wife and I) are submitting 3 years joint tax returns, joint bank statement, birth certificates, copy of green card, and the check

What if BOTH 1 & 2 apply?

To use this form you must be ONE of the following:

1. A lawful permanent resident for at least five years and at

least 18 years old; or

2. A lawful permanent resident for at least three years and at

least 18 years old;

AND

You have been married to and living with the same U.S. citizen for the last three years;

AND

Your spouse has been a U.S. citizen for the last three years.

You can pick whichever you want. With 1 it is less paperwork that you need to send. Just the copy of green card. But with option 2 you need to send a whole lot of documentation

I sent my packet on Monday and it will arrive tomorrow!!

I submitted 3 yrs tax transcripts, marriage cert, sons birth certif, joint bank account statement and that's it.

When do you guys think us February filers will get biometric appointment or interview appt?
I will be on vacation End of April til first week of may debating if i should wait till late april to send my packet in

If you send your n-400 application soon you might get a biometrics appointment by end of this month or early march. and one month after your biometrics you will have interview schedule.

Based on how it's gone for the January filers I also see that in one month u'd have the biometrics appt.
