How can I see what wait times other members of the Santo Domingo consulate have gone thru. Is there even a page that shows these AP wait times. I am not wanting interview wait times. AP wait times. Thanks for any help. I was told by the Department of state that we are in normal processing mode but going on 3 weeks is not normal from what I am seeing. Most members have visa in hand within 10 days after approval.

Hi there! What does your status on Ceac say? We were in 'administrative review' for two weeks and were also told everything was normal. Our ceac status finally changed to AP for one day and then issued

It's so hard when you know you are approved and then you still have to wait and no one tells you anything

Hang in there! As they say in Jamaica soon come.

August 4 2012: filed i130

December 5 2012: noa1

August 26 2013: AOS package received at NVC

Sept 19 2013: case complete

Sorry to hear you are still in AP. Did they give you a reason for it?

No. Very fast and quick interview. Consular official seemed to be satisfied and told me it should take 2 weeks for visa to be printed.

Well January 14th tip is almost 3 weeks. I will say that there were 2 holidays in this time frame where the consulate was closed.

When I called (before having mine issued) I was informed it can take up to 8 weeks and that its normal to be in AP.

Yours was printed and given to you in record time. I asked the lady when I called department of state if there were any red flags with our case.......she said no everything looks normal and visa will be issued. I do not know what to believe.

I don't know what makes them take so long. On the day of the interview my fiancé bumped into an old school buddy with whom he had lost contact and his friend had his visa issued two days after the interview. That's why I was so impatient bc we were approved the same day I thought something was wrong with my case. I wish you good luck and pray your visa is issued soon.

How long did it take for you get your visa, since it said ISSUED?

I've been waiting almost a week.

Well that comment makes me worry more. Lol

I know the wait is horrible. You have no choice but to wait. Soon you will have it. I guess the person working your case is slow or something.
