OHH I am so upset..... It was my interview today and i couldnt get my visa

CO asked my husband's IRS transcripts for 2012 and the his original divorce decree, stupid lawyer sent only copy of his divorce decree to NVC..

I showed his latest payroll checks and W2 for 2013 but they didnt accept it..

Husband already left the states so I really do not know what to do, Oh God i am so depressed all flight tickets will get burned

I am so sorry. Well he can get it to you soon as possible I am sure. Chin up I know its disappointing. But its a delay not a denial. Soon soon you will be together.

Since you have a lawyer I guess everything goes to him? Even the P4 letter you got? Because that would have told him to bring the tax transcripts and divorce decree. He really messed ya'll up. Your husband should demand he has to pay for the fee to change your plane tickets.

How was he able to not submit 2012 tax returns? And originals are required. WOW.

I already went to have medical but they cannot make the document until finding out I'm pregnant or not...

(I don't think I am, but understand what they have to do to make my document)

Accountant is preparing 2013 tax return which should be ready soon.

Since we are both living and working outside the US, there is no W2 to bring.

It should be fine, right?

I think all will be ready quite soon.

I showed my husband's W2 for 2013 and amount was over the required one, still dont understand why CO didnt accept W2 as a document.

Hubby is filing his tax now.. but we have to wait the transcripts will be available on IRS site. What if i just go with saved and printed prove of his filed tax, will CO accept it? Really dont want to waste another month waiting this transcripts

Ok we have just made an interview date for March 12th for our cr-1 visa...but we havnt yet received an appointment letter..

Our case had been expedited and on the CEAC status update it read the following ..

Your case is ready for your interview when scheduled at the U.S. Consular section. If you have already scheduled an appointment for an interview, please prepare your documents as directed in your appointment letter and appear at the consulate on the appointed date and time. Otherwise, please wait until you have received interview scheduling instructions.

Also our medical was completed on Friday and our appointment is 6 days later..We're supposed to give at least 7 days for the paperwork to clear at the embassy

The reason I went ahead and selected March 12th was because the next available date would have been May 20th..

Do we need that appointment letter or is the appointment cofirmation enough? Can we get by with only 6 days from medical to the interview?

Any good advice i can get here will be much appreciated..It's confusing as always..

Most embassies won't let you in without the letter. You need to contact them so as they open.

As far as the results I have no idea how your coubtry does it. I know some like London they send results to embassy. Nigeria you pick up in 4 days so have o idea you eed to ask the doctors office when is it ready to pick up. I know if you have no results at interview they will not give you a visa until you have all required documents to them.

thanks dwheels..i researched and found out in Manila an appointment cofirmation printout is as good as an appointment letter..

Now it all comes down to if our medical has made it to the embassy in time for our interview..fingers crossed!
