Going back to last year thread for April interviews .. Most interviews were given away around march 4th and up... So will hold my expectations for this week. However, I read that someone of the domenican republic got their interview for April 4th..

Up until January 2013 scheduling was always the 2nd week of the month (some NVC operators still quote that). I know DR has been logjam like crazy so things probably started freeing up because many have been waiting a few months. It is embassy based of course and some are busier than others, some keep scheduling until they fill some stop .

Usually sceduling goes last week of month through first week usually by the end of that 2st week of month its over for the month. That's why being in the queue is so key.

Your embassy I believe with the up and down of political issues and safety concerns (look at Egypt for example) isn't that simple to predict.

All you can do is hang in their it will come.

Yemen and Vietnam by far have the longest waits of 8 to 11 months after case complete. Imagine that.

It may need to be changed because I will need my passport on March 28...

We'll ask embassy and see what they say.

About two business days after the interview they mail your passport and visa back to you.

Yes my case was expedited.

We didn't aubmit any forms or documents to NVC.

Only documents they have are I-130 petition package and DS260.

I am guessing they will review all AOS and IV package after I bring them to the interview?

Q: Does the I/L letter come via email? If so, do they email right after they schedule it? or is there a delay of several days? TIA
