I just got off the phone with NVC. My interview is on April 2nd! YAY!

Looks like we will be at the consulate on the same day! Congrats on getting your interview date! maybe we can help each other out the rest of the way!

Lol @ "hay naku".. Actually if youre married and you request for cenomar, they will automatically give you the cemar. Its just a certificate showing how many marriages youve had. But if youve never been married, they will give you the cenomar instead. The officer asked for my cenomar yesterday and i handed her my cemar, and she accepted it.

krispykreme need your input pls. I was a widow and got married here in the Bahamas. Do you think I still need a cemar? Got married here, not in our country, Philippines. Have not yet report my marriage to DFA since I want to do that once I will be in the states.

Im still waiting for my interview date. Just got case complete last week February 20. I will have my interview here in The Bahamas.

MY HOPE, we have same date of case complete. I received an email this morning from NVC thought it was my interview appointment but it was not. It says :

Dear Sir or Madam:

The National Visa Center has received all documentation necessary to complete pre-processing

of your case. As soon as an interview date has been scheduled, the applicant, petitioner

and attorney (if applicable) will be notified.

The applicant should NOT make any travel arrangements, sell property, or give up employment

until the US Embassy or Consulate General has issued a visa.

The US Embassy or Consulate General may require additional documentation at the time of

the interview. Additional documentation requirements if applicable can be referenced at

the following URL: http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3742.html

Congrats on getting case complete! uhm, i dont think u need one since you will have your interview there in The Bahamas anyway. Did you check on the country reciprocity requirements for bahamas if a cemar is required? If in case you will get one, i think your current marriage will not be listed there since you havent reported it yet.

Your I864 has issues so you will need to fix for the interview to not have a delay. So that was a case complete but not the actual case complete letter.

Do you know your errors you had?

However I would call NVC to find out your exact date (I have seen them change dates on folk) and that case complete it key to where you are in the queue for interview.
