Hi all, I had to put in a service request with the USCIS on Monday January 27, 2014 because we were beyond processing times...and received this response from them this morning:

The status of this service request is:

We have received your service request and researched the status of your case. We have had to perform an additional review and this has caused a delay in processing time. Your case is currently with an adjudicating officer. You should receive a decision or notice of further action within 60 days.

What I want to know is has anyone ever received this before, is this pretty much standard..good or bad...additional review????..our package is crystal clear...has anyone seen this type of response before......shaking in my boots over here..someone please help me with this....cray5ol.gifcray5ol.gifcray5ol.gif

Its standard, if they get name hits or wants to further investigate.

also they are backlogged, they may have just thrown that out due

to e-request. Its a waiting game not a denial

OK, thank you

Hi,

We received the same exact response when I sent a request about our processing time. We were still later approved about 3 days before the stated 5 month processing time frame. I felt the same way too. Try not to worry too much. I hope you will get your approval notice soon.
