Can this lead to a deportation?

I'm not sure if this topic belongs to this forum, but I'm just needed to get an answer. Lately, my husband's ex and her family has been making our lives hell (not related to my AOS). I guess they ran out of things to mess with so they decided to try and make me look bad. A few days ago, I posted on a social media site a photo containing just a portion of the patient wristband that I had when I was at the hospital. It contained my age, and just a part of my name. No other information. Now they are threatening my husband, saying that they called USCIS and some lady told them that because of that photo, they are "going to run a 5 point" on me and eventually have me deported. It sounds really ridiculous to me, but my husband is the one freaking out. He does not want anything to jeopardize my AOS.

I'm fairly confident that what I did had no connection to my application whatsoever, but I would really like to give my husband some peace of mind. Thank you in advance for your responses.

I don't even know what they mean by a "5 point". You have no worries. As long as your I-693 was in order, you are good to go.

Sounds like they are bored. Why don't you tell them to find someone else to harass? Or consider filing charges against them if they persist.

Why on earth would you think receiving medical care was grounds to be deported? Next time they call ask them what a "5-point" is. Now i'm really curious.

I know, right? They seriously just hate seeing my husband happy, so they find ways to stress him out. Anyway, at least I'm not the only one asking what a 5 point is. I've always thought it was just made up.

Other than a "five point inspection" when your CAR needs a tune-up, I have no idea what the term could mean. I suspect they are totally b-s-ing you and I feel sorry for you, because I don't see what they could possibly "threaten" you with. You've filed for AOS, you've done your medical, you're in a period of authorized stay and you will not be deported unless you (a) commit a serious crime/felony or (b) have your AOS refused for some other reason, down the line.

Thank you. I just wanted to ask if anyone even heard of such thing. My husband has been stressing out for hours. I have never done anything against state or federal law, and I have done my research and put in a lot of effort to make sure my AOS is done right.

The only 5 point that has to do with immigration is the Five Point Plan for Immigration Reform which is just an article I read and includes "Deport all illegal aliens who are actively taking advantage of our current health care system; send them to the hospitals in the country of their origin."

You're not an illegal alien and it's clear they don't know the first thing about immigration; I wouldn't worry, they can't do anything to jeopardize your status. Make it your mission that they stay out of your business, I'd start with blocking them off Facebook or anything else that has to do with you. Sigh..the things people who have no lives will do.

Maybe that's what they're talking about. Well, too bad for them, I entered legally, have done everything legally, and wow, the only reason I was in the hospital was for my I-693. Yeah, they probably read that somewhere and didn't even bother to check if that even applies to me. Thank you for this.
