All this chat about sending in additional relationship evidence with the IV package has got me worried. I did not send any such thing in, just the civil docuements that are required along with copies and copy of data page of passport and 2x photos. It does not say anywhere that you need to send this evidence in on the official websites!?

Is it just for certain consulates? I've never heard of anyone sending this kind of stuff going through London.

Thanks

I personally know someone who did it for London but only because they didn't send anything with the I-130 petition. Sideloading is something normally done by those going through high fraud consulates. The CO often makes a decision before ever talking to the beneficiary. They have been known to not look at anything brought on interview day as well. In MENA or other high fraud areas, you give yourself the best possible chance of living with your spouse as guilt is often assumed and you must prove your innocence.

For you and I? This isn't an issue really unless you're orginally from a high fraud area.

I posted this yesterday, but I wanna ask again if someone can give me advice...

I have a question on DS-260.

How can I put petitioner's foreign phone number with 11 digits.
It doesn't let me go next until I put at least one 10-digit phone number.
Since my petitioner lives with me outside the US, we have no US phone numbers.

Do I tell our email address etc to the NVC after we get a case number assigned or earlier?

Yes you can give the operator both of your emails when you receive your case number.

They will contact you via emails after that :)

Like TYorke1 said, this talk of additional evidence with IV package has me worried too. I sent in a fat stack of every type of evidence I could think of with the original petition, but I didn't send any additional with the IV thinking that I could just bring it with me to the interview. The only thing I can think of to add is more skype records, cards to each other and our families, and pictures of gifts. Maybe me and my families flight itenary and hotel reservations for our upcoming trip to visit her? Our time/sleep schedules match up, so we don't really have chat or email transcripts anymore since anytime I'm not at work we have a skype video call going, just a record of hour upon hour long calls everyday.

Anyways, I sent in the IV package last week, is it too late to send additional evidence with another IV cover sheet?

Yesterday I travelled to the US with my husband(the petitioner) to visit for a few weeks. When we arrived at border they pulled me in for a secondary inspection. After two hours of questioning and waiting, we where allowed through. I've travelled to see him many times(ALOT actually) and have never been questioned before. My question is...Will this affect our immigration process in anyway?

For couples outside the US as well as inside the US an in person interview is always conducted to verify whether the marriage is truly bona fide.

At the in person interview at the Consulate or at the USCIS in the US the officer will request proof of the bona fide marriage and also ask questions about your marriage. The reason why the bona fides of the marriage is evaluated during an interview is to determine whether the marriage is fraudulent or not (e.g. documents can easily be assembled which give the appearance of a bona find marriage but upon interviewing the spouse it can become quite clear that it is not a real marriage). There is usually more behind somebodies case if a person doesn`t get the chance to present bona fide documents during the interview .....

Nope :-)

Don`t worry about it - There are thousands of people who get send back home at the border before or during their Green Card process and still got their GC. (As long as your not lying, trying to enter illegally or overstaying)

Right, I get that, it's just that someone posted earlier that often times they won't look at the additional evidence you bring with you to the interview, but will only look at the evidence that has already been provided up to before that point (The evidence with the origianl petition and anything sent along with the IV). There will probably be more behind our case, as you said, so I just want to make sure that all the evidence of our ongoing marriage from the time the petition was sent to the time we have the interview is taken into consideration, which is why I was curious if it's alright to send in that evidence now even though I sent the IV a week ago. I do believe our initial evidence was very plentiful, varied, and covered all the bases extremely well - so I'm probably over worrying, but that worry helps to make sure it gets done properly :)

I believe that NVC wait for bundle of cases from the same country to be assigned numbers together, during time frame at most.

Finally got our Case # this mourning, but when I log in it says case number and Invoice number do not Match...

We did not have much to show when we sent I-130, and we still don't own anything together, have a kid, nor have a joint bank account. We don't really have proof of sharing financials...

Things we are adding for NVC are wire transfer receipt and some contract with both name on, which are things we got after I-130. Plus some new photos we took.

AND I easily get worried.

Sorry, I didn't mean to make you worried.
