Not "need", but in the case of a high fraud consulate (where it is recommended) or if you want to send more then that is the way to do it. It is never a bad idea to make sure the CO has proof of your bona fide relationship before the interview.

I have a question on DS-260.

How can I put petitioner's foreign phone number with more than 10 digits.

It doesn't let me go next until I put at least one 10-digit phone number.

Since my petitioner lives with me outside the US, we have no US phone numbers.

I'm on the fence on whether we should add more proof with the IV packet. We don't have much though, just some new screenshots and money transfers. Most of the updates are baby related and I don't think they'll care about that.

Still waiting for case number tho

I know the feeling.

We are telling ourselves that better be more than not enough.

(But 100-page long Skype log is too much tho... we haven't figure out how we can send it)

We feel like we don't have enough because we don't own cars, house etc with both names are on...

Hope you get your # soon!

With chat logs and video calls, we only submitted screenshots for 2 sessions per month since we started dating. I just made sure that the dates were visible and I chose the vid calls that were like 4-5 hours long. I just labeled the months and years the screenshots were taken under the photos.

Don't worry, we don't own cars or have anything joint either. Just his tax returns for this year most probably. I'm not a very "joint" person lol so we didn't bother with those things while I was in the US.

Hey guys,

I was just reading this thread as we just got our NAO2 approved on Feb 10th. There is a lot of good information yet. It appears that most people here received their NOA2 around end of January.

I was curious about when I should start calling NVC. The USCIS website still just says it was approved on Feb 10, and doesnt mention anything about being forwarded to NVC. I plan to call NVC this morning to see what the scoop is. Any thoughts?

I suggest calling USCIS first to ask when they sent out the package

That's a good idea for logs.

We may copy you :)

Banks don't even let us to have a joint account because we cannot physically visit there.

So we at least make a pile of all the proof we have and a lot of photos!!!

Hi my daughter is not married , she is a minor. But she is my husbands stepdaughter so just showing proof of our marriage. Any thoughts on how I should send the envelopes? Also are copies of payslips good for my daughters AOS package as the originals are in mine? Thanks for your help Nobby7

Copies of paystubs are fine.. I had to print mine because I only have access to them electronically.

As far as how to send them, I sent both my AOS packages (wife and stepson) in the same envelope but I used a small binder clip to keep each separate. I will be doing the same for my IV packages. Definitely don't want to staple them or anything like that.

After a checklist has been returned to NVC if all is good, how long does it usually take to receive case complete? Do you go back to waiting another 4 weeks?

if you call the NVC and ask them about the time frame they would state 30 business days but the reality and from looking at everyone timeline who got checklists it varies from case to case between 12 to 20 business days from the date the NVC scans the checklist in the system...but when your checklist had been received by the NVC and they got it in the system ?

ANYBODY ELSE CALLING THE NVC AND THE LINE IS DISCONNECTING?

today the NVC is not working because it is the president's day which is a federal day
