we have attorney tho. and i think we will just wait for their advice on when is the time to pay the AOS. i tried to login today on payment portal and it says "not invoiced"...i was just thinking how long do we need to wait for the bill becomes available to pay?

No I meant to write who got their case number with my same dates? I still didn't get mine. ... I didn't mean to say that I got my case number.. I really hope we get my case number tomorrow

We're on d same boat ;( dont have my case # yet. Nvc received our case 1/13. Its more than 20bus.days.

Called USCIS today just to find out if our petition had been sent to NVC yet. The fellow told us there is was no way for him to know that. They should know whether our petition is still there or not shouldn't they? But from looking at others timelines it looks like its taking about a month for petitions to reach NVC after NOA2, is that correct? And then once they receive it, another 20 business days to receive Case #, IIN and BIN? So from NOA2 it looks like about a 2 months wait before anything more can be done??

Oh and can I go spend this downtime with my hubby in the US? Would that be OK?

No, NVC doesn't send you the forms. They'll send you a link to the forms, but you can do that yourself. Just go to USCIS's website and find the I-864 forms. Please go back and read posts 1 and 2 as you've obviously missed valuable information.

i told my father to go lawyer office and tell him to find I864 form and they have to send this form to me in bangladesh than i will sign and send them back so it will take little time

If you're the beneficiary, you don't have to do anything with the I864 form, that is for the petitioner.

I'm sure I've read about others calling USCIS to see if their petition had left the building... I'd call again

I believe customer service is closed today because I did receive an email of a checklist today. Guessing somebody else made it to work today.

Remember, there's a delay (typically a few days) between checklists being issued and you receiving the email.

Did you talk to just a Tier 1 at USCIS? Try a Tier 2 next time. Cause it should be noted in the system when the petition is sent out. Perhaps the Tier 1 just can't see it.

And yes, you're legally allowed to visit in the meantime. Whether or not the border officer will let you through is another story as it's ultimately up to them whether to let you in or not. Some tips on increasing your chances:

-have a return trip booked

-bring copies of all paperwork submitted

-have a letter from your employer (if applicable) stating when you're leaving and when you're expected back

-have a letter from your landlord (if applicable) stating the same as above

-pack lightly (don't want to appear as if you're moving)

Look in the Canadian forum for more information. And remember, even if you get denied, it won't be bad for your visa; these things do happen. Just be honest at the border and don't lie.

I got married in Nov 2012, but filed my 2012 tax (2013) as single. Also my W 2 for last year shows "single".

Now that I just paid my AOS bill, I do not wish to go about changing all that. Has anyone experienced issues with filing as single and getting a check from NVC?

Second question is, once the AOS shows paid. I can use the downloaded I864 ez with bar coded cover and other returns to mail to NVC? or am I waiting for I 864 EZ form from NVC?

Our I-130 is approved and shipped to State Department, but on February 12 we received letter that also our K3 is approved. Now what?

Does anyone know how long after, you will hear something from NVC after everything is submitted & paid?

Such as the AOS & IV paid and the AOS & IV package sent in, forms filled out etc....

This is outrageous. I've sent several emails and just sent another one today to NVCinquiry regarding my application. We are out of the processing times. They don't respond to emails in a timely manner either. I sent an email to NVC expedite abd still haven't received a response. This is completely and utterly outrageous !!!!!!!!!!!!!
