Hello,

We won't receive our NOA2 hard copy (we moved out) and we notified USCIS right after receiving the email notification. However I feel like the inquiry the Tier1 filed on the phone won't help.

Could anyone tell me if the NOA2 hard copy is absolutely needed for next stages?

Thanks a lot.

Nope not needed whatsoever. It's just for your own records.

I just wanted to check to see if I'm the only one in this position:

I received my NOA2 notification by email on January 31st. They mailed me the hard-copy on February 3rd. My status on the USCIS site has not changed. NVC does not have my petition yet.

Honestly, how long does it take TSC to ship the stuff to NVC? I'm assuming if it left TSC, I'd have a different status date! I'm not expecting them to bundle up all the approved petitions every day and ship them, but I would have thought they send them weekly, at the very least!

Am I out of line in thinking Elvis should have left the building by now?

I think TSC is one of the slow service centers to send petitions. Remember, you may or may not get another status update only when it ships. My suggestion: call up USCIS and ask if the petition has been sent out. If they say yes, ask for the EXACT date.

Hi Saylin

Looks like I am going to have to reschedule my medical, which is fine as NVC have only just received our packages so plenty of time before my interview.

Only thing I am worried about is when I checked 'no' on the vaccination question on the ds260 I wrote in the explanation box that I will be obtaining the required documentation at my medical on February 20th. Now this is still gong to be the case except it will not be on the 20th Feb. Do you think this will raise any falgs? Or do they not even care which date my medical is on as long as the part about the documentation will be available at interview materialises.

Thanks so much for your help

Nope, doesn't matter at all. There was no need to put the date of your medical, but NVC isn't about to start calling to confirm these things. And even if they did, it's still fine. These things get rescheduled all the time. Absolutely NOTHING to worry about no0pb.gif
