congratulations when did the NVC receive your IV package and scanned it in the system

IV package was mailed Next Day on Jan 14 . I didn't think of asking him when it got scanned in the system. The only think he ask was when I mailed it and what I had included, then he's like yes we have it all here and that they were waiting on my AOS package. I even asked if I need to send any additional doc and he said NO only AOS. Should call again and ask my received/scanned date?

I already called customer service at usps and they informed me that they will be giving me a full refund and if the package doesn't arrive tomorrow to give them a call to set an investigation. Even if they try to deliver the package tomorrow NVC will be close, so it will have to wait till Monday

Well, I started out today super-cranky because I was hoping to get the IV invoice before today, and it still hadn't shown up. Then, at 3pm today - huzzah!!! There it was. And of course I paid it right away - we've had the money waiting to go for a while, just in case.

So now, assuming that the payment clears our account this weekend, husband will send off his packet of stuff on Monday.

He was asking (and I'm pretty sure I know the answer, but just to be sure…): as opposed to the AOS packet (which had to include the completed I-864), there are no documents to fill out for the IV packet, right? Just include the bar-code sheet and then the list of things like passport page, marriage certificate, police and military record, etc?

Hope things will go this smoothly the rest of the way too - for all of us!

So my husband and I are still waiting for our case number at NVC. I decided not to call today cause the last lady was quite rude and it's prolly because I have been calling almost every day (we are at 14 business days).

Anyway....I have the money ready for the fees and the packets are ready to go except the police certificate.

My husband saw his GP today and got his Tet Booster and his first MMR vaccination. He goes back for his second one on March 13th. So now it's just more waiting.

I am such an impatient person. sad.png

Also, I can't believe he never got an MMR vaccination. Is that common in the UK?

Argh, just got an AOS checklist for missing items. They say my I-864 form is incomplete:

1) I did not fill in the number for total household income because I am the sole sponsor. Turns out they want that anyway. (Part 6, Item 10)

2) They don't want total wages from the tax transcript, but total *income*. For me this is a negative number since my income was subject to the foreign exclusion and I had investment losses in the US. (Part 6, Item 13)

Do they really want a negative number for my total income?

Hi Saylin, I have a question. I did receive a checklist on my AOS because the annual income did not matched the current w2's which was 2012.

Do I have to change just the annual income to match it, or something else?

Is the only thing it asked for.

Thanks for your help.

I have a question, when you responded back to the checklist, Did you put your case number in the upper right hand corner on the i-864 form too as requested? I'm afraid of putting and being rejected for the same cause. lol

Just got off the phone with the NVC and I'm so confused that I'm frustrated...

I am petitioning for my wife and stepson at the same time, separate I-130s, so I understand I must submit a separate I-864 for each one. In Part 3, I understand that I only need to answer question 1 as "yes" (I am sponsoring the principal immigrant named in Part 2), and do not need to list any Family Members because my stepson and wife are both on separate visa petitions.

However, in household size, based on the questions, I only come up with a total of 2 for my wife's I-864 and a total of 3 for my stepson's I-864.

I called the NVC twice. The first time, the guy told me I was correct to have 2 different household sizes. The second time, the guy told me that I should only have a household size of 2 for each I-864. I feel like I should be saying my household size is 3 on both forms.. my wife, my stepson, and myself.
