How long does it take for 'supervisor review'? I understand that's the final review after the case complete. but how long will that take?

That's not an unspoken VJ rule. That's a common understanding of conduct all over the internet, and it's been around for decades. If you're typing in all caps anywhere, people will think that you're screaming at them.

LMAO!!! I work in a hospital and we are not allowed to send emails in caps! There was one pharmacist who kept doing it and he got written up 3 times!! The audio link was sooooo funny! That's the first time I had a real belly laugh in a long time. Things are so serious lately. Hope you get a case # soon. Just got mine today. Good luck.

Plus, it's soooo hard to read when everything is in all caps (and often in conjunction, no punctuation is used, making it even harder).

Saylin, I need help.

I tried to login to payment portal and it's giving me the following error for last two days.


"This case is in the process of termination. Fee payments and online forms can no longer be accepted. If you believe you have received this message in error, or to resume processing of the case, please contact the NVC immediately."

I know this is a good thing. Probably they are invoicing my AOS fee but it's been 2 days. Is this normal?

Btw I have completed and submitted DS-261 today.

I am happy i didn't receive any checklists...

Even i am not sure. i try to call over and over to get a consistent answer but i m receiving different answers every time i call . 3 reps told me consider it complete. then a rep told me we just need to put a date on it :/ and this morning they told me, supervisor needs to review it before they can put it in different pile.

i searched about supervisor review, so i guess thats the final review before its offficially complete.

i just called again now, now they are saying it's in process of being completed. :/

You can call up and inquire if you wish, but I'm assuming it will clear soon. Just keep checking on IE.

No it wont let you leave it blank. It only lets you check a box for "do not know". I can put N/A in there but I dont want that to go against me if its not appropriate.

From what I've heard, once both packages are accepted, then a final review is done. No idea how long this takes, but typically not long. (Although, time frames seem to have gotten longer and longer lately, so who knows...)

I was filling out the old 230 form, so I would be prepared of whats coming. I was a lil confused by writing down every time I was in the US. Will this question also be on the 260 that we have to fill out now?

And if yes, is it just when you had a visa before? Or really every single time I entered the US?
