3rd monthly thread I'm joining.. I might like ya all but I'm ready for a case complete and be done! IV already moved to the US, flew in on the VWP last week and husband already started work.. Now I can only pray for a case complete and interview set in Sweden which I have to fly back for before April 29th! Otherwise it' might be a long time away from hubby and at least one of our kids as I can't fly by myself with a toddler and an infant..Cause there is no other way to this than flying back for the interview right? Can't move it to Seattle somehow?

I saw that everyone moved here...I got our approval Jan 10th 2014, although the date on our notice says we were actually approved on the 6th. Anyway, I've started to call, but keep hitting problems: yesterday the office was closed due to weather and today, every time I call the call drops immediately, like the line is busy or something. Anyone else having this problem? I've called repeatedly nearly 50 times, and the call drops every time. :(

Nope, an IR-1/CR-1 interview takes place outside of the US.

Hi saylin, no i am not using attorney and i am using IE browser.

Thanks for the reply

Kalloo

Looks like some other people posted today they're still waiting as well. You can always call NVC and see what's up, but I'm guessing it's still within their stated time frames.

Wait, so you are able to be in the US during your processing? That sounds fabulous. Anyway, I'd also like to know if there is a way to change the location of the interview. We put down Ankara, Turkey as the local office, but we had wanted to move and are unsure if we can change the office.

How long does it take for 'supervisor review'? I understand that's the final review after the case complete. but how long will that take?

Kind of.. I came here on the visa waiver program last week as my husbands job started this week.. We lived in Sweden prior to this.. With our two dual citizen kids. I can only be here until the end April.. Therefore I hope I will have an interview by then so I can just take the interview and be in my way back again:)

Pardon.I'm at work and I use all caps.....Any other unspoken vj rules I should know about?

That's not an unspoken VJ rule. That's a common understanding of conduct all over the internet, and it's been around for decades. If you're typing in all caps anywhere, people will think that you're screaming at them. :)

Oh! I thought that once in the process of getting your visa that you couldn't enter the US as a tourist. Too bad my husband's country isn't on the list. haha
