Here is my income year by year,

26000=2013

10600=2012

6000=2011

Do you think, I can sponsor my wife and daughter? Will they get visa? I have savings of about 11k?

I know I've seen some posts about taxes, but it was a while ago and I don't feel like searching back through. I called H&R Block (for advice on taxes), and they said I need to file single, then "ammend my return" after my wife gets her green card and gets here. But I just wanted to see if any other people have done that or whether they filed married instead, etc. We got married in the Philippines, not in America, so I'm not sure if that makes a difference or not.

hey, same here.. im on the same boat, i called NVc and asked them 3 times and they said its not necessary to file married o biously shes not here in the states. they re just interested in ur income

That's absolutely not an excuse whatsoever. Please go read the bottom of post 2 about filing taxes.

As for your second question, I'm assuming you claim your daughter on your taxes? If so, fill out part 5 as the following:

1. 1

2. 1

3. 0

4. 1

5-7. 0

8. 3

Hi all

I have 2 quick questions.

1. I'm getting my photos done to send with my IV package today. I have little bit of a beard which I didn't have for the I130 photos. It's very faint and little more than stubble. Is this ok?

2. How do people normally enclose the photos within the IV pack? Would it be ok to put all the documents along with the photos inside a plastic wallet so the photos don't accidently fall out at some point?

Probably silly questions but I'm just double checking.

1. Not sure about the beard

2. Put in a little plastic wallet. Staple on your cover letter or a plain blank paper and place in your pile according to the order in your cover letter. Don't forget to write your name and case number at the back.

When writing my name, case number and date of birth on the back should I list my date of birth is US style dates or the style of my country?

Just got case #! Finally!! The operator (Lisa) was super nice. She actually seemed excited for me! Got both #'s and gave emails. She said it would be 10-15 business days til I can do anything though. One more baby step towards the finish line!

hi xprecious32 when I filed for ITIN for my husband we only include the federal returns with the W7. the state returns are sent to the state, each state has different requirements. FYI my state processed my return as single and after the federal processed our return as married I had to contact the state for them to adjust their records.
