I've never had anyone be anything but nice to me at NVC. They've been courteous, answered my questions...they were nice people. One guy helped me with a question about my I-864 that even my accountant

Hello

I have a question about the documents to send with IV package.

Is there any advantage or disadvantage in sending original documents vs certified copies? From what I understand only birth certificate and marriage certificate have that option. PCC should be original.

If its all the same, I'd rather send copies.

By 'certified copy', they mean notarized copy right? Or is it something else?

we got our case number on 20 feb n just yesterday the iv n AOS bill shown that need to b paid although we didn't fill in the ds261 yet when my wife called nvc they told her that because of out agent which is our lawyer but we fired her back in spetmber n the link of paying still not avilable??n we havent recive any emails yet?? is that normal>> also one more quiz when we fill the forms is which family name we write for my wife ? before marrige or our family name?

Hello Everyone, my husband stayed in Saudi Arabia for 5 months back in 2009 for work and now in Dec 2013 he is back there for work and plan on staying there until April 2014. Do you think he would need a police clearance from Saudi? He didn't continuously stay in the country for more than 6 months at a time. So just wondering if he would need the police clearance.

They don't mean a notarized copy. They mean a copy issued by the same authority that issued the original.

thanks, I'm thinking of going this route too. do you know when tax transcripts are available?

I'm not sure. Was wondering this myself. According to IRS website it could take up to 8 weeks to receive ITIN# and because it was filed with current taxes, I'm assuming it will take just as long to get tax return done as well. Someone else may be able to give you a better answer.
