then you should wait for the new passport before you fill out the DS-260.

Can you share how you were able to nudge NVC into action? I submitted DS-261 on Jan.30 and still waiting for IV processing fee invoice. I call NVC every day. Initially they used to say it takes 10 to 15 business days to review DS-261. Now they are saying it will be processed on First In First Out basis and saying wait for the email! Totally frustrating!

i dont know either, maybe there really playing luckypick!

i got the same answer like yours everytime i call. actually when i noticed that the padlock on the IV fee is gone and just the yellow triangle with black exclamation i called. the operator told me that they only received the case and hasn't review it yet and it takes 30days.

does it matter if my husband use another email when paying the aos bill? he had difficulty opening the previos email he had. any ideas?

Finally our AOS shows paid and I can now mail everything in. Still waiting for IV to show up for payment. Any idea when that will be?

My case was received on the 18th of Feb but it feels like forever already.... I called the NVC yesterday and I was informed that I should call back in 20 business day which will put me at the end of march before I get a case number. . NVC please show me some love

You can either:

a. Fill up the form with the old info and renew her passport and explain to the embassy during her interview.

b. Renew her passport now and not wait until April. If she's in Manila, she can get her passport within 7 working days. It takes about 20 working days for NVC to review the IV docs anyway. So you might be able to time it properly.

I opted for option A myself. We will deal with it when the interview comes as I didn't want to delay the NVC process.

Other folks here who have more experience might be able to chime in on it.

.... so I'm embarrassed to say that yesterday I realized I made ANOTHER mistake on my I-864. I was reading someone's question about Part 2. Information on the Principal Immigrant, and realized I had actually entered my own information for the "Mailing Address" and "Other Information", thinking that it was actually part of Part 1.

I'm not gonna stress over it, dumb mistake... I've already sent a correction for another mistake so this time I'm just going to wait till the NVC sends me a checklist.

I just looked over mine and I did the same thing. I havent sent it in yet, so I can still change it but yes everyone please double check to make sure you didnt do this. Hopefully it doesnt cause any delays in your processing. Good Luck

I got confused when I filled up the Surnames on DS 261. It says put all the names in the passport. I put the middle and the last name since it asked for "Surnames", and of course my Given name as my first name. I know surname is the last name but in my passport includes my middle name too. I am kinda worried right now. Is there anyone who have the same issues like this? Please I need your opinion! Thanks!

Nvm, I figured out. I should put it as a Given name (First and Middle name). I just got confused coz in Spain it's different, when asked for the surnames always the middle and last name are together. Lol

Information on the Principal Immigrant, and realized I had actually entered my own information for the "Mailing Address" and "Other Information", thinking that it was actually part of Part 1.

I'm not gonna stress over it, dumb mistake... I've already sent a correction for another mistake so this time I'm just going to wait till the NVC sends me a checklist.

with my case I got the IV bill invoice right after the AOS bill was paid and the AOS was billed right after we submitted the DS261.

That is nice, u have a attorney and thats why both AOS and Iv got invoice at same time

Just an update, Received and paid my IV bill yesterday!! YAY!! And it was my hubby's birthday.Maybe we will get a case complete for my bithday. (3-20)

check today!! ours was invoiced today, after receiving email 5:05am PST.

iam in the same boat as you. Every one is getting invoiced for IV bill except us,

sometimes filed office or processing center wait for a while for bundle to become big before shipping to NVC
