Hello..how long does it take to receive the invoice of IV bill nowadays? My ds261 has been added to case file on feb. 7 2014 but until now still waiting for iv bill invoice.

with my case I got the IV bill invoice right after the AOS bill was paid and the AOS was billed right after we submitted the DS261.

Is it true that IV Bill comes as available when AOS package gets scanned in ?

i think not at all cause my iv bill was available when we pay the aos bill even the aos package was not yet sent.

Question, will I get a letter from the NVC stating what I need to provide (the reference to Police certificates is most important!)

Also, will the NBVC only case complete when they have received everything including the police certificates as I need to get one from Hong Kong and am not sure if they will need to send to the NVC or Consulate?

1. It's their current address. Where the green card will be sent is asked on the DS-260.

2. I checked both (we provided 3 years as well) and had no problems.

1. Yes, it's available as soon as you pay. You can either print or email the 'Document Cover Sheet'. And you don't need to do either right away. You can always log into the payment portal at a later time and both options will still be there. It's not just a one-time thing.

2. Yes, you can pay from India. As long as it's from a US bank account, it doesn't matter where it's paid.

If there's no money, then the bill would appear as 'REJECTED' in the payment portal. You can then try paying again. Your case won't get denied or anything

1. Yes the barcoded coversheet should be available after you make the payment.

2. Your wife could also sign in to the portal and make the payment. I think they only take money from Bank Accounts.

You did appoint your wife as the Agent in Ds261 ?

Hello Saylin,

I am the petitioner (USC) and i live with my parents. My mother is a USC and my father is still a green card holder. Since i am not making enough money, i am going to include my mother's income too. So which form should me and my mother use for AOS?

Also my parents filed taxes as married filing jointly (MFJ). So do i need to include my father's income too?

Petitioner: I-864

Mother: I-864

Your father doesn't need to file a form (aka contribute his income) if he doesn't want to. If he does, he'd file an I-864A.

When submitting tax information, make sure your mother includes her W2s along with the tax transcripts to show her individual income (if your father doesn't file).

But when i checked this website http://www.uscis.gov/green-card/green-card-processes-and-procedures/affidavit-support under the topic "How to File an Affidavit of Support" it is saying "If you are using the income of other household members to qualify, then each household member who is accepting legal responsibility for supporting your relative must complete a separate Form I-864A, Contract Between Sponsor and Household Member."

So in my case, my mother should use form I-864A, and I should use form I-864, right? Please help!!

Just an update, Received and paid my IV bill yesterday!! YAY!! And it was my hubby's birthday.Maybe we will get a case complete for my bithday. (3-20)

hello everyone! just a question, we were so confused with the new i864 form for the mailing address, that is for who the petitioner or beneficiary? coz we cant put the beneficiary's address. and if it is for the petitioner the only information for the beneficiary is the name only? thanks

AOS question:Do u think guys I will get a checklist from nvc if I didn't put zero throughout the boxes of household size in form I-864EZ that doesn't apply to me? I simply left it blank and I am getting worried. I also forgot to include the page 4 of I-864EZ although it is just a mere statement and has nothing to do with it. The form was signed dated and filled out properly except those I mentioned above. We have attached w2 tax transcripts and pay stubs.I need your opinion plssss dear friends...tia

yes I do think you'll get a checklist. Even though page 4 is just the agreement it needs to be included and you cannot leave any blank spots in the I-864ez. Not sure why you attatched w2s? The tax transcripts was all that was necessary.
