NVC Filers - February 2014

My expedited file was received by the Embassy this evening (next morning in Nepal). I called the Embassy and requested an interview date. Its now set for March 4th. Yay!!!!! Long time coming.. I will be boarding a flight this week to Nepal and bring her back with me......

Anyone else here that sent in both packages and payed everything, filled out online forms,

still waiting to hear back from NVC about their case being complete??

Basically the same dates as you. Still waiting.20- 30 business days from receipt of package. Hang in there we'll get there.

No not yet. I'm assuming you have sent your AOS packet. Sent mine last week. Still no IV invoice as of now. I was wondering about you. I guess we are moving at the same pace.maybe this week sometime. My IV packet is ready to go!!! Good luck my friend!

OK ..question???

On my income tax...I claim my older daughter, as she is in school and doesn't make too much money. But she pays rent and supports herself.

So to me, I only support myself and my youngest daughter. But to my income tax...my family would be larger. Is there anyway to still say and/or prove that I don't support the oldest. I claim her just to obviously get a bigger return as she's a full time student.

Now after the fact, I will probably have already given birth to my son before these people ever get on the ball. So at what point do I add him? He won't be on my tax returns. And likely I will have to send my AOS before he's born unless I go very early. Which with this crazy high risk pregnancy is always a chance.

Also....now that all these things have happened to me with my blood pressure asthma and pregnancy..i can't fly. I have all the proof in the world stating many reasons and risks that I can't from 4 different doctors. I have my hospital records as I was hospitalized 2 times in one month for about 1 week each time. Wasn't able to work all that time etc...many issues. So chances are I wont make it to the interview....and even if the interview is after he's born, I still have to wait until about a month later or more to get his birth certificate in order to get his passport.

Any advice? I feel like im in a no win situation here with DR being such a high fraud country

Got my case no.today but they did not gave me the invoice identification no. Anyone here have same situation like me?

Yeah i experience that today but i try it over and over then now i get my case number:)

but they did not gave me my invoice identification number:(

From what I have read.. If your case number just has been assigned (like today) then you might have to call back later to ask again. Congrats on getting one step closer!

AOS was paid Feb 12, NVC received my package feb 13, it was entered on their system feb 18, The IV bill is still not available until now!!!! Some people get theirs after 4 days or with in a week. Oh Lord! Its Feb 24... Its really frustrating!!!!! but i know i cannot do anything but to wait... and wait.. and wait... and wait.. and waittttttttttttttt.... sorry guys, i know we are all experiencing this. but this makes me really depressed..

Yes im waiting for almost 30minutes and the rep doesn't nice to me:( and after 15minutes i tried to call back again just to double check if i got the exact case number because the first one just hanged up the fone..lucky me the second rep was so nice:)

Yup yup. This week will be week three since they registered receiving our AOS packet. I figure I'll try calling later this week and see if that's been approved. But the IV packet was a week after that, so I don't expect to hear any good news until at least next week if we're really lucky.
