what that mean???

Please be advised that the case that you have attempted to access is not eligible for further processing by the National Visa Center at this time. Please contact the National Visa Center if you believe that you have received this message in error.

You can find the answer on the first page, second post in FAQ.... its not a bad thing, its actually a good thing :)

Help! I can't sign into the payment portal. Why?

If you're getting an error message ("Please be advised that the case that you have attempted to access is not eligible for further processing by the National Visa Center at this time…" or "This case is in the process of termination. Fee payments and online forms can no longer be accepted…" or "You cannot make online payments for your case at this time. Please contact the NVC if you have questions or need further information."), do NOT panic. This is actually good news! If you just got your case number, then this message means NVC is inputting your case in their system. If you get this message a few days after case number generation, then it's a good possibility that NVC is invoicing your AOS bill. And if this message appears a few days after DS-261 acceptance, then there's a good chance the IV bill is being invoiced.

Hi Saylin,

My father will be the only joint sponsor. He files I864 and I file another I864 even with no income. And my mother files I864A since my parents file taxes jointly. Every other docs are ready. Do you think I should also send my parents marriage certificate along with AOS?

It wouldn't be bad idea. Just a photocopy will suffice.

i have filed single, does it matter?

Yes, if you were married, then you can't file single. Amend the tax return ASAP.

my NVC page is same for couple days

am i missing or making some mistakes

also i dont see my DS-261.

[...]

It takes a few business days for the AOS bill to be invoiced. Be patient.

And you find the DS-261 on the online forms portal, not the payment portal.

Hi everyone! We are all getting closer to being done little by little!

I have a question:

Up until recently my 'IV Processing Fee' in the payment portal has been unavailable. 3 days ago that changed to 'Pay' and I can now click on it. However, when it takes me to the payment page it just says $0.00 and there's no box for me to check in order to pay it. Is anyone else having this problem? Should I call the NVC?

Thanks!

Are you using IE? If not, use it; stop using whatever browser you're using for the immigration process.

How do you get an email from nvc? Do u get registered or smthng?

Once a case number is assigned, you give over both email addresses to an operator and then you'll receive correspondence from them by email.

what that mean???

Please be advised that the case that you have attempted to access is not eligible for further processing by the National Visa Center at this time. Please contact the National Visa Center if you believe that you have received this message in error.

*sigh*

I'm praying we get case number this week. I-130 approval 12/23, Nebraska service center shipped this to NVC on 12/27, NVC received this case and being put in their system on 1/13... Currently been 14 business counting MLK holiday. So considering 10-20 business days for case number assignment this upcoming week should be the week! I'm declaring that right now. Anyone in our same shoes with these similar dates?

Same here..No case number yet.

I called to the NVC today to ask about my I-129F approved petition. The rep. told me they have it and they're going to make a decision whether to send it to the embassy in Bogota or not. I told her we would like to go with that one and asked her if we can request that, but she said we can't, it's up to them. I really hope they send it to my consulate I don't want to spend 4 or more months waiting in this process. I miss my husband so much cray5ol.gif

I've read some people here are in the same boat, how are you guys doing with the k3 visa process? Any updates please?.

Keep in mind, just because you're living in the same house doesn't necessarily mean you're all in the same household. Unless they claim you as a dependent, then you're not in the same household.

I'd suggest the following:

You - I-864

Main income earner - I-864

Their spouse - I-864A

Quick update from us: AOS package was delivered today, and AOS fee now registers as paid on CEAC. Now waiting for the IV fee to come through - hubby has all of the materials ready and waiting.

And one point about the whole married/single tax question - just to be clear, you need to file as Married if you got married during that tax year. If you didn't get married until after Dec 31 of the year you're filing, you file as single. I don't think this applies to most of us for 2013, as we have all filed spousal visas, but in terms of prior tax transcripts, it might be helpful.

ROUND 1:

29 Aug 2011 - Started dating

05 Oct 2012 - SO's J-1 visa expires, returns to Germany

21 Dec 2012 - Engaged in Germany
21 Mar 2013 - Married in US
26 Mar 2013 - Husband returns to Germany (again)

12 Apr 2013 - I-130 sent to Chicago Lockbox

19 Apr 2013 - NOA1 received (notice date 4/16/2013)

11 Dec 2013 - NOA2
16 Dec 2013 - Hard copy NOA2 received
22 Jan 2014 - Received Case # and IIN from NVC - we're in the system!

21 Mar 2014 - CASE COMPLETE!! (received info by calling NVC on 24 March)

06 May 2014 - interview date

16 May 2014 - POE

ROUND 2: I-751 process - just getting started!
