I went through the same thing. My husband is currently in the UK and our case was assigned to Pakistan, which he is a citizen of. I adive you email the NVC ASAP to have this matter rectified - you will have to send proof of residency and address for your husband in the UAE (work permit, residency permit, anything that establishes legal residency, and also proof of address driver's license or if it is already on the residency permit). Scan these original documents and email them to the NVC ASAP! The NVC took 20 business days to change the embassy for my husband and assign a new case number - during this time I was unable to do anything on the case because it goes on hold and when you call to ask the time frame the reps say they don't have a time frame for this matter... have in mind the standard 30 business days... good luck!

One thing that I saw someone posting and a bit worries me, is the employment letter. I work for a fairly large corporation and they do not seem to have an employment letter. They have verification sites, which can be used by anyone. Does not really print anything

I have mailed paystubs for past 3 months. Not sure how to respond to a checklist requesting Employment letter

Any ideas/suggestions are most welcomed

You should be able to get one from Payroll or HR, just need to find a contact. Our company also uses verification sites/numbers, but I specifically asked for a letter and they created one for me (through Payroll).
