Ye m sort of confused about police clearance what to do now because if I wait for IV payment done it will be another month for waiting to get pcc done . Can i print out the page of IV n AOS processing page n can get pcc done? Is it possible????

There is no such guideline from MOEA that you need bar code or NVC letter for PCC. Just make an appointment and pay the fees and walk into your RPO for PCC. Tell them you need it for US. I said the same and was never asked for any documents pertaining to my visa process. My PCC was initiated and the verification is back at the RPO. I am from UP and my RPO is Bareilly.

I've never had anyone be anything but nice to me at NVC. They've been courteous, answered my questions...they were nice people. One guy helped me with a question about my I-864 that even my accountant

Has anyone who received their case number and IIN on 2/12/14 been able to fill DS-261 and the AOS Fee?

We have the same situation.i called nvc yesterday and he said they are still working on with case numbers available last feb 12-15..and i would wait for a few more days..

USCIS STAGE:

04-05-13- Mailed CR1 petition to USCIS
04-08-13- NOA 1 ( NBC)

04-17-13- Form I-797 received thru mail (official receipt)
11-18-13- transferred to Texas Service Center
12-12-13- NOA2 (at last!), no RFE smile.png

01-06-14- shipped to NVC

01-13-14- NVC received

02-12-14- Case number, IIN & Beneficiary ID available through phonecall

02-24-14- DS-261 available and completed

They seriously need to get some people working in there overtime, or on a Saturday or something. At this point, a week or two of that should put them well ahead of the game. If they're already backlogged now, it's only going to get worse. Perhaps we should send a letter to the management there, and explain that they're going to be getting a lot of people through and their backlog is only going to get worse if they don't do something about it *now* while it's manageable.

I agree...especially since winters NOT over up here...we're going to have PLENTY of more snow days Im quite sure! Like anything, if something is running inefficiently ....then fix it!

I-130 & I-129f: TRANSFERRED TO CSC 2/7/14

I-130 & I-129f: APPROVED 2/20/14

NVC:

3/4/14: NVC Case Received

3/7/14: Email that case number and IIN assigned, DS 261 and AOS fee available to pay

3/14/14: JUST seen the email because I wasn't expecting it so soon. Paid AOS FEE & filed ds 261

3/21/14: AOS paid, cover sheet printed

4/28/14: AOS sent

4/28/14: IV paid

5/5/14: IV submitted

in the process of sending civil docs for IV package...thennnnnn...dun dun...NOOOO checklist i hope! lol

Technically, today is the 5th business day. They were closed on Feb 13 and Feb 17.

More than 1 year if he is not of the nationality of the country.

Hi,

I called NVC today.

Our case number was created on 18th February, and received case number, invoice ID and beneficiary ID through phone. I gave our email addresses to the operator.

what i have to do before receiving mail from them? what will our next step and what should we do first ?
