Isnt Macedonia a part of the Hague convention?, so if it is, I believe better you have an apostille, Stacey&Misho are talking about this apostille.

We prepared all documents with an appostile, and ready to send these originals (God knows when cray5ol.gif )

Thank you. I saw on the site of the Embassy here in Skopje, they have option to notarized documents. Also I called the institutions in Macedonia, you can obtain birth/marriage certificate in any time for less than two days. It's not like in some countries where you have one certificate with water mark. Also if you made a copy you go to notarize the copy. That's how it goes here. Longest duration for obtain a document is court certificate and you can have it for a week. So I decided to send originals, and if something happened i can obtain another one in any time.

I've never had anyone be anything but nice to me at NVC. They've been courteous, answered my questions...they were nice people. One guy helped me with a question about my I-864 that even my accountant

yes, yes, i have all new and with appostile... :) you can obtain apostille for 4 hours in the court and in Ministry of justice.

From this point of view we don't want our k3 to be closed, they can proceed and i can wait the CR-1/ER-1 there. I wonder what they will suggest...

I do believe that NVC should do something about the backlog like Kaylara said, because it's gonna be a disaster if it continues like this ?

Also, if your retired and basically self-employed at the same time does anyone know what to put on the I864? Not sure here?

Just done talking with NVC representative. she was very nice lady telling me....." I know this is what you want to hear this time - your CASE is COMPLETE as of today. But, there's still minor mistake in the 1-864 and you can just take it with you during your interview. Wait for the email for further instructions and you will receive soon your interview schedule."

Absolutely agree, we were told same BS as everybody here... wait up to 8 weeks for case #... wt.. my friend submitted Fiance visa late Nov. 2013 and they are already approved at the embassy, I wish them all good. But we are married nearly year and still separated. This is so much against families. Does anybody have any contacts on management?

how can their lines be busy every day i mean isnt that what being on hold is for

what happens is their lines max out

like example

they might have 40 trunk lines (so 40 people can talk, all at same time)

but when 41st person calls he gets engaged.

thats whats happening

Also, if your retired and basically self-employed at the same time does anyone know what to put on the I864? Not sure here?

u have option to tick if you are retired.

Who gave you that information? My wife started the PCC process soon as her I-130 was approved. She got her passport reissued with my name on her passport and then got the PCC done. It took about 4 weeks to get everything done. Your spouse should go to passport office soon as possible and start the process. NVC will require the PCC to be sent with IV packet.

My wife went to get her PCC last week in Ahmedabad, India, they said they require some sort of "checklist" or something with a bar code from NVC. They want to know on what basis is she getting her PCC done? Any thoughts on this?

NVC has received the Agent of Choice Letter. Please allow 2-4 weeks for

this form to be processed. The Immigrant Visa Fee bill will then be sent

to the designated agent.

what that mean again i have to wait 2-4 weeks for IV fees after they already received ds261??
