I called National Visa Center to find out my interview date for New Delhi embassy. I was told that there is no set time frame and they will notify me through email. Did anyone else experience this that NVC saying there is no set time frame for an interview to be scheduled.

hi Saylin :-)

need your opinion here, we already paid our AOS last feb 7 and its been paid on their system feb 10. we're wanting to send our AOS and IV packets at the same time but it looks like our IV fee will take some time to be invoiced so we're like thinking if it would be best if we're going to send our AOS packet on Monday. my question is, is the AOS and IV packet has the same 30 days review time? would it lessen the review time for our IV packet if we're going to send our AOS packet first? or its still 30 days upon receiving IV packet?

Nov 5 2013: NOA 1Priority date

Dec 11 2013: NOA2

March 21: CR1 IV invoiced

As an update we haven't received any email yet from NVC stating our case number and IIN and BIN though we got it by phone. Maybe tomorrow. I am waiting for this to print so I can start my police clearance in Singapore to be processed. I need this letter from NVC.

Also, waiting for the acceptance response for the opt-in email I sent in.

The portal payment - AOS not invoiced.

DS261 unavailable.

Besides, I have accomplished something today, after my blood checked for immunity ( required vaccines), my family physician confirmed that I am immune and gave me a copy of the results.

And he asked me when was the last time I got TdP, i don't remember. so he gave me one shot.

So, aside from MMR, TdP. Varicella, do I need Influenza vaccine? And did I miss anything? idea9dv.gif

Disregard this.. i found the answer on saylin's post. @ http://www.panelphysicians.com/Pages/Immunizations.htmbiggrin.png

Added! When did you send in the IV package? I don't see that time tick on your signature...

Each package has their own 30 business day time frame. Doesn't matter if you send them together or separate, as they'll each go into their own queue. But, the benefit of sending the AOS package ASAP is that it'll be reviewed sooner than if you wait to send it with the IV package. The only benefit really of sending them together is that you'll save on a mailing envelope. That's about it.

There's a question/answer on post 2 about evidence to send to show US domicile.

And the joint sponsor doesn't have to be in the same household as you. They don't even have to be in the same state. As long as they're a US citizen/resident, they qualify.

Apologies, let me restate my question. My company intends to transfer me to the US. What evidence do I need to show that my foreign earned income will continue in the United States to justify the use of foreign earned income as the ability to sponsor? Should there be a statement in my letter of employment with Japanese salary of intent to transfer to the US?

I am filling out AOS form for my parents. Now, I am getting mixed answers about particular questions.

  1. Household size in both the forms should be 5 ( myself, my husband, my son, my two immigrant parents) but then both the petitions are "two separate visa petitions", correct? and both are principal immigrants.
  2. Does this mean that both the petitions have nothing to do with each other?
  3. Do I still say that spouse will accompany (the form says that do not list ppl on other visa petition)helpsmilie.gif

I am so so lost on this crying.gif

Oh, thought you meant in reference to proof of re-establishing!

And I'm not sure, sorry. Sounds like an employment letter would be the only option really.

Sorry, I'm not entirely sure how it works when you have two petitions going at the same time. I'd suggest calling up NVC directly and asking them. Make sure you call at least five times, in case their answers vary.

Saylin,

I sent the IV package on 1/10/2014

Thanks smile.png
