Yes! I'm giving it about 7 working days before I start calling NVC. I live in the Northeast, and I understand how the weather has probably affected that office! Got three more inches of heavy wet slop today!

That email saying it was sent doesn't actually mean it HAS BEEN sent. You need to call, talk to a tier 2 and ask if your case has been shipped and if so what day. Most people get the Post-decision emails. Heck even mine arrived 1 hour after my decision email. I know they didn't ship it out that fast!

I suggest at least 2 weeks before calling the NVC. The time where they could go super fast seems to be over. Even if you know when they receive it, it tends to take 20 business days after that (so about a month) to get the case numbers.

Did USCIS forward ALL our docs to NVC including our evidences of a bonafide marriage? And will NVC forward ALL of them to my country's US Embassy? Thanks!

Package IV payment accepted Feb 10, 2014

Submitted DS-260 on Feb, 10 2014

NVC received Package IV on Feb 14, 2014

NVC entered Package IV in their system Feb 18, 2014

I just called them few minutes ago to get an update on the case. The answer was was 30 days.

I asked her 30 business days? She answered yes.

I dont think that is the case (30 business days) the lady operator seemed fed-up with us callers.

they still have not accepted my DS261 which was done on Feb 5th.

When I called NVC, I was told it takes 10 to 15 business days for DS261 to be accepted. Mine was done on jan.30. Still no invoice for IV processing fee! Edited February 20, 2014 by SVL

They're open today, presumably there's just a ton of people trying to call in for their status after 4 days of the office being closed. I'm having trouble getting through tonight too, infinite busy signals.

I have a question, I just filled out my DS 261 AOS of form online. I have a question regarding the package, I will be attaching one pay stub from 2013 and one from 2014. On both pay stubs it has year to date amount, and the one from 2013 shows amount greater than the present poverty line $20,000 and the one from 2014 shows YTD which is less than $19,000 my question is should I include pay stubs from the years of my tax transcripts (2010,2011, 2012) or stick with 2013 and 2014?

Also do you have an example of a cover letter for the AOS package? Thanks.

10-15 days. That's a lot.

Your going to be 15 days tomorrow. Please inbox me if u get notification about iv fees.
