Our numbers are 11 digits...so I will call NVC for the instruction.

After this problem is solved, DS260 will be completed

Remember when calling Japan from overseas, you drop the first digit. If your using a cell phone, your number is 0X0-XXXX-XXXX, right? So just drop that first 0 and you have ten numbers. If using a landline, they are ten digits, like 0XX-XXX-XXXX. There's no need to add the country code to all this. If they're going to call, they can figure that out.

just wanna ask, what are the possible reasons for the IV fee bill to take so long to be invoiced/available.?

i was wondering bout that too.. most of the cases i follow here got iv invoiced after 2 weeks, a few were earlier. maybe bcoz of the backlog, holidays, weather.....

even the AOS bill, its taking a while to show its paid.

and if you dont mind, can u make signature timeline

If you provided your email address to nvc when you called them for the case number, you will receive notifications from them telling you that your aos or iv fee is now available for payment, or that you need to submit ds261 or ds260. Just the usual steps of the nvc stage.

i just called nvc right now and they did get my email and phone number and said that they going to sent us an instruction how long will it take to have this instruction from the case number assigned to you. and the email of my husband and contact number is already in nvc. how long they going to contact us?

I was thinking that too, just omit 0. Thanks for your advice.

The operator at NVC told me to put first 10 digits because they don't really call anyway...

My husband asked the embassy yesterday and it takes 2 days to get an answer.

I think I would wait till tomorrow to see what answer the embassy gives us

But otherwise, I would drop first 0.

Even a little thing makes me a little crazy at this point.

When the AOS fee is available, they will send u an email. I dont know how long it takes nowadays to be honest but with ours, our ds261 became available as soon as we got our case number and the following day we got an email telling us to pay the aos. You really dont need to wait for nvc's instructions, just check ceac frequently and as soon as you see the ds261 or aos fee available, submit/pay it right away. Their instructions are sometimes delayed and outdated

Question for the people who have sent in their I-864EZ through EP.

I am sending in my docs today and am renaming my files for the supporting documents for I-864 EP. I understand the format CaseNumber_Name_Document.pdf

With the DS-260 docs, obviously I use the applicants (beneficiary) name. However on the I-864 do I also use the applicants name or would it be my name since I am the US petitioner/sponsor? What have you guys done?

Just keep on checking everyday. For the meantime, prepare your aos and iv packets so that you're all set whenever it's time to send them in to nvc.
