This case is in the process of termination. Fee payments and online forms can no longer be accepted" or "You cannot make online payments for your case at this time. Please contact the NVC if you have questions or need further information."),

And iread the faq by saylin that if the ds21 states this after filled up then the iv is in process of invoicing it how about the aos it is also not available .is there a chance that aos and iv will invoiced at the same time? Thank u

Was just advised that it was 20-30 business days (now that I'm past 20 business days) because of snow days. How 2 or 3 days off translates into 10 days extra wait is beyond me.

Out of curiosity, are you asking for time frames or are the operators saying this without being pressed? Every time I call all I get is "your case was just received" (yeah ok) and "it takes 10-20 business days." No one has acknowledged yet that, had it not been for office closures, my time would be up. I'm thinking next week I'm going to start pressing for estimates on my daily calls.

Just an update on my situation. I called yesterday and the NVC confirmed my AOS package was received on 2/18. I assume that the pacakge they received is the first package I sent (I resubmitted the I-864 when I realized a mistake I made). The guy confirmed I did the right thing by re-sending my I-864 as they will review my first package, send a checklist if my mistake is confirmed, and then review the second submiited I-864. Good to hear some consistency.

He also let me know that my wife's IV bill should be invoiced very soon, and that I shouldn't worry that my stepson's IV bill already invoiced before my wife's.

They are offering it unsolicited. When I questioned why it changed after I hit 20 days, they told me Snow days and holidays. Well, federal holidays don't count as business days any way, so I was already taking them into account when I was counting. It's always been unsolicited after I give them my MSC #. As of yesterday, they were still quoting 10-20 days, with the caveat that it'll probably actually be at the end of next week because of snow days.

Gotcha, thanks. Hopefully it'll be next week rather than another 10 business days. It would be nice to end February with some forward motion.

Yeah, I didn't understand it either. Maybe because it was a state of emergency? As an employee of the government, it probably did count as a holiday day. But in the real world, even with a state of emergency, they don't count as free days off. I know, back when I was working as a professional, if I had a deadline, there would be hell to pay if I missed it. (Unless there was an actual emergency, but they'd still want their stuff immediately upon my arrival, and might call me at home/etc. to make sure I was working on it in my "off" time.) If they know that they're getting backlogged, and it's likely that it will only get worse, I do not understand why they wouldn't want to get ahead of it and add in working days. (Like Saturdays, or nights.) Offer overtime, do it on a temporary basis until they're ahead of the issue, and it will save months of screaming phone calls from irate people. Sounds like a decent trade off to me. I would have done extra hours or days to avoid having screaming phone calls, and I was on a salary.
