I am relieved that my hubby received his interview date for 2/1/07 in Kingston. I am currently compiling a list of documents that he should take with him to the interview please let me know if I have everything covered.

Thanks in advance

Appointment Letter

Passport Pictures (6 which includes those he'll need for the medical)

Passport

Updated Birth Certificates (both of us)

Marriage Certificate

Police Certificate (He got it in November, is it true that it takes 6 months to expire?)

Visa Application (DS230 I&II)

Copy of Affadavit of Support (Original was sent to NVC. While NVC didn't ask for it to be notarized, I am going to notorize the copy that I have. You can never be too sure)

Copy of W-2 Forms $ Income Tax returns for 2003, 2004 & 2005 (I coudn't locate my 2003 returns so I received a copy of a transcript from IRS, is that good?)

Job Letter

Vacination Card (for medical)

Proof of Relationship (Pictures, 1 year phone records, wedding albums, travel Itineries)

That sounds about right to me... I used a book by the nolo law publishing company called obtaning a green card through marriage, and it gave step by step instructions on filling out the forms and everything... they also included a pull out check list of things to bring to the interview, i have it in my extensive "hubby come home" file that is at home. I can post the list at a later time, thanks for the email post as well. that was what I was looking for... I was gonna call now but I'll wait till next week sometime. My husband is being too nonchalant about the whole thing, we sat down and did all the paper work for I-130 and I-129f at the same time so I guess he thinks thats all I've had to do... I wish he could see this huge stack of things i've been compiling and the phone bills and all that.
