Our K-1 Visa Journey: I am the petitioner
10/27/12 - Reconnected in person (1st visit)
11/08/12 - First phone chat upon my return to the US (we have communicated via phone, text, facebook, viber, what's app, tango, skype, magic jack, instagram everyday since)
02/08/13 - Second visit - I flew to meet him
05/24/13 - Third visit ( both flew to Antigua to meet his mom)
05/28/13 - Got engaged
11/01/13 - Package mailed via USPS Priority mail
11/04/13 - Package confirmed received
11/07/13 - NOA1 via text & e-mail

I arrived with my fiance to California yesterday! I have to say that the 26 hours of traveling on 3 hours of sleep was probably the toughest test of the solidarity of our relationship! But that was all forgotten very quickly....as was the whole visa process.

Interview Today, approved today!! All without a lawyer, well unless you count the one that told us we had to leave the US in the first place...

04.01.2007 - Met Online.

09.21.2012 - Met in Person.

09.19.2013 - Engaged!

10.07.2013 - K1 package mailed via FedEx.

10.08.2013 - K1 package delivered.

10.11.2013 - Case accepted and routed to CSC (e-mail).

11.14.2013 - I-797 NOA-2 received.

01.02.2014 - Packet 3 received from Consulate.

01.08.2014 - Packet 3 checklist submitted.

01.13.2014 - Packet 4 received (e-mail).

02.27.2014 - Interview date. APPROVED!!!

Hi everyone ! Just found that thread as I am waiting on my visa to be issued !

We had the interview on February 20th and have been approved ! My fiancé managed to come so it was really helpfull for both of us !!!

It has just been a week since the interview and I just check the CEAC website every hour or so..(bad I know)

Congratulations to everyone that have been approved and lets hope we get those visa issued fast for the rest of us still waiting !!
