Was I supposed to receive my medical results back after K1 interview?

I've got both good, and (possibly) bad news.

The good news, is I just POE'd at Peaceful Bridge (Ontario - Buffalo) and have my I-94! (Sitting in the Buffalo airport right now haha)

The bad news, is the officer said he asked his supervisor if he could photocopy my medical records for me, but was told I wasn't allowed to have a copy of anything in the sealed envelope. He said everything gets forwarded to Immigration Services anyways.

Is this going to be an issue for me? Was I supposed to have a copy of the medical results (in-hand) after my POE..?

Nope. You did exactly as you were supposed to. Your medical is in the hands of USCIS now, where it should be. :)

Agree with the last 2 posts. You, like 99% of us, will never know what the exact medical report said....they may have mentioned something about that 3rd eye they noticed....but well, you know...can do much about that now ;) jk

Double check your records, the main thing you need is the DS3025. That not only has your immunization records, but it also indicates whether you need additional immunizations.

If you cannot find that form, I would try to contact the Montreal consulate or the location you had the medical done to see if they can get you a copy of it.

Without the DS3025, or even if it indicates you need more immunizations, you have to go to a Civil Surgeon and have the proper portions of the I-693 filled out. This is where it gets tricky because some people claim that they can't find a Civil Surgeon that will just do the immunizations, and will make them do the whole medical again.

Instead of starting a new topic I am going to just add to this...I am working on my AOS right now, and it says for the I-693 you don't have to have another medical if you are a K1 visa holder if it was completed within the past year. I thought I wouldn't have to submit anything because they have it all on hand. The only thing I got back at the interview was my CD with xrays. Now I am reading that you have to get a civil surgeon to complete some form and it is difficult to get one who won't want to do a full medical? I have no copy of the vaccination form the doctor filled out at the medical. Is there any way of getting this done without having to go to another doctor?? Has anyone had success without sending anything in? Shouldn't USCIS have all of the medical stuff on file??

If you are confident you don't need additional immunizations you can be our first guinea pig! Worst case is an RFE and delayed green card.
