As the title says, was I supposed to receive my medical results back after K1 interview?

I was given a CD with my x-ray results back, but nothing else... I really hope I'm not needing it at POE.

Your medical result is yours to keep. You will need them especially the record of immunization or other physical exam when filing AOS, otherwise you'd be required to submit a sealed form I-693 signed by a civil surgeon.

Proverbs 3:5-6

Trust in the Lord with all your heart

and lean not on your own understanding;

in all your ways submit to Him,
and He will make your paths straight.

In GOD we trust. † = ♥

I got a copy of mine from the actual medical and the embassy gave the X-ray on disc

That's a good idea. I'm going to call them up.

The consulate did send me my visa back, with a sealed brown envelope that I need to show at POE. My medical results wouldn't be in that envelope would they?

Yes. Your medical results will be in the sealed envelope that you got back with your passport. Do not open that envelope. Just keep it with you when you POE and hang it over to them when they process your visa. If you are flying, bring it in your carry on luggage. If you are driving, keep it with you so you can get it easily.

You should have kept the CD and your DS3025 immunization document worksheet. Everything else is in the sealed packet you have. The DS3025 is what you need for AOS. If by chance its in the packet, perhaps when you activate the K-1 you can ask for a copy of it.

The $300 is paying the doctor and his staff, as he isn't getting paid by the province. Just a few pages of paper!!

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

Uhm no.

the medical results for Canada come back in the "do not open" envelope which is turned at the POE.

You probably could have asked for a copy at the Medical. I'm an RN and I know at the hospital (in the USA) people ask for their reports and we hand it over (once they sign the paperwork) I watched my Dr back in 2004 (in Halifax) and it wasn't much, he asked the questions, and checked the boxes--very basic physical.
