I consider myself a responsible gun owner and I take that responsibility seriously. I have no intention of misleading anyone. I am no expert on gun laws in every state. But like most gun owners, if I were to go to Chicago, I'd have to check things out before I brought a gun with me. Ditto for any other state, whether it was for hunting, CC or a shooting event. I need to know the rules.

My take on this, unlike many here, I think Gary is an intelligent man. He knows the gun laws far better than I do. He intentionally posts wrong, inaccurate or misleading information. Then he carries on that he already posted links and he isn't going to do it again. He gets his pleasure here by doing that and trying to bait people into a discussion that he isn't going to have. He's not here because he wants have dialogue. He's having fun doing what he is doing. As a gun owner, I don't believe in spreading false information concerning guns. As a man, I don't believe in spreading false information period. Playing around on the internet is one thing, but personally there are lines that I won't cross. Gary reminds me more and more of Booyah, only the topics are different. The long term members will know who I am talking about.

I'm not into calling Gary names or insulting him. I agree with some of what he says. I think most people here have a problem with how he says it. But if you look past the e-persona, he brings up some valid points and can make sense when he wants to. But on the Illinois CC, he should provide proof of what he has claimed, although I don't see how that is possible with the links I have provided. And then man up and admit that he was taking everyone for a ride by spreading false information. I don't expect either to happen.

Another real question is, given his history, who would want to be in a fight with GZ. I mean how could you celebrate winning a boxing match when you know angry, paranoid George is on the other side of the ring, conjuring up a plausible self defense scenario.

There's quite a few folks who want to fight him, but I hope no one takes the bait. If a black person goes in and beats the brakes off him, it will validate that we're violent and he was right. If he wins, he stays in the spotlight a bit longer.
