Change of address

Hi,

Brought my wife on K1. She has since gone through AOS and got Green Card in January of 2006. We moved in May from my joint sponsors home (my brother). He still has the same address. Should we have notified USCIS of our address change? Are there penalties?

We plan to petition for her adult daughters soon with I-130s and my brothers help as a joint sponsor?

You need to do a change of address with USCIS

Yes you need to complete forms AR11 for your wife and form I-865 for youself.... this should have been done within 10 days of your change of address... but I dont think there are any penalties...

Stickler for detail :P so.... I-865 is due within 30 days of a sponsor's move; the AR-11 within 10 of an alien's move, if such move is to be considered a change of permanent address. There are distinct penalties to the alien, but USCIS rarely enforces them ;)
